My dad would roll over in his grave if he new LV had pro sports teams. Originally, I am from Las Vegas. He was a pretty big time dude in the 60s-80s. We had some semi pro teams:

IHL, The Las Vegas Thunder
Canadian Football League, The LV Posse
MLB, (minors) The Las Vegas Stars

Now there are many Pro teams such as.

Golden Knights
Raiders
Aces
(NBA soon to come)

Most notable born in Vegas, Greg Maddux, Andre Agassi, Busch Brothers, Frank Mir, sports wise.

Also home to arguably the best college basketball team ever, the 1990 Running Rebels, so fuck you.
