Funny to see this host try to hide that he thinks the worlds coming to an end if Elon levels the playing field on Twitter. Overall pretty good interview, and Elon goes into some detail why he holds a grudge against the San Fran SEC office.

50 minute mark reminded me of this

Maybe someone can combine this with other Musk threads. Is intersting how Musk seems to be pretty anti-government and somewhat libertarian. However, he seemingly showed support for voting for Biden during election season.

On Elon voting for biden...first: has ever flatly stated he voted for him? And if Elon did I can only say that even a genius billionaire fucks up every now and then.

He has never stated that to my knowledge. However, A couple weeks before the election he did state that he thought Biden would win and it was his to lose.

Do we think @jack is being genuine?

Dorsey labeled the board as “consistently the dysfunction of the company” and said he agreed with venture capitalist Gary Tan’s statement that a badly run board “can literally make a billion dollars in value disappear.” When another Twitter user asked Dorsey if he was allowed to be speak publicly like this, Dorsey had a clear response. “No,” he said.

Hell no I don't think he is being genuine. He is a communist and allowed all this shit to happen on his watch. Off with his head!

I want to know if he really has some fellow billionaires lined up to help him buy Twitter. If so an announcement on 4/20 would be funny.

I saw someone speculate that he would up his bid price to $69 on 4/20 and it made too much sense. However, I think $69 is too high a price so not sure that will happen.

That being said, i wouldn't be surprised if he makes a move on 4/20 .... it would just be on brand for him.

Will the price be $69?

Not sure if Musk goes it alone or if he gets help from another investor or group. Lots of rumors floating around.

What a laugh - Bezos to challenge Musk. Bezos can't even hold up Musk's jock strap. Dream little Jeff and accept the fact that Elon is your big daddy!

Still think this is priced at 50-50 on going through. The stock was trading $38ish before it became public that Musk was interested in acquiring Twtr. His offer price is ~$54 and the stock is currently trading in the range of $45-47ish or about half way in between the two prices.

The information coming out today hasn't really moved the stock telling me that its still a toss up as to if this will go through.

Musk putting up $21 billion in "equity financing". I assume this means cash and possibly shares in either TSLA or SpaceX? I guess that could be considered debt financing, not sure.
