Elon Musk Thread - Buys twitter for reals this time

I would say to make anti trust issues come to light if there are any. You know the doj is gonna be Stevie Wonder on this whole thing.

Just thinking out loud .... Twitter is a private company and the government has no right to be involved in their discussions. I fucking hate twitter (until its bought by Elon) but not sure I can justify this move without more information explaining why they think its legal for them to be invovled.

Is it private? I thought Elon was trying to make it private instead of a publicly traded co that is bound by the laws of the US?

Intersesting. Why is it the governments business what Twatter is discussing? Not sure I agree with that?
I hate Republicans but don’t be obtuse.

Congress has a right to fact find on any topic they want and especially if it involves economic activity. Twitter employs many people and has publicly traded securities for goodness sake.

Let me guess that you don’t think “government” should look into how these big oils companies are polluting the planet either 🙄

Dont let the door hit ya faggot

Somebody is going to be thinking lawsuit if the deal doesn't go through

Reminder that the board (Many of who do not have the means to fight the lawsuits they will face if not acting in a fidcuiary matter)

Any action involving DWAC, and I'll be very pleased :)

Elon taking over TWTR is going to be direct competition for DWAC and will hurt its growth imo. That is if Elon does what he says he is going to do and return free speech to the platform.

DWAC really dropped the ball and missed a great opportunity by not being ready when they said they were going to be.
