ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A federal appeals court panel on Thursday put on hold a lower court judge’s order to end operations indefinitely at the immigration detention center in the Florida Everglades dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz.”

The three-judge panel in Atlanta decided by a 2-1 vote to stay the federal judge’s order pending the outcome of an appeal, saying it was in the public interest. The ruling will allow the facility to continue holding detainees for the time being.

U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams in Miami issued a preliminary injunction last month ordering operations at the facility to be wound down by the end of October, with detainees transferred to other facilities and equipment and fencing removed.

He was probably 79 at the time. I tried prolonging it as long as I could. He told me I want to get it over with after hearing relatives his age took it and to sign him up. Fuck Fox News.. lastly….my dog was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma cancer after needing one of his eyes removed in December of 2023. He was given 9 months to live and Fenbendazole has kept him with me. Not sure for how long but he’s still with me.

The Judges talking to NBC anonymously frustrates the way the judicial recusal process works. What Judges own. What they say. And their political beliefs should generally be accessible to litigants so they can test judicial bias and serve the ends of due process.

Now, litigants will instead continue to be appearing in front of 12 Judges bristling at their judicial superiors in the Judicial Branch and bristling, of course, at Trump’s every move.

But the anonymous sourcing will mask which Judges should be recusing from litigation against the Trump Administration because they are hopelessly biased against it.

And the same secrecy also prevents filing judicial ethics complaints against these judges and investigation of these Judges by their superiors inside Article III.

If the 12 Judges in question had honor and integrity, they would come forward now and admit they were sources for this NBC story.
