ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A federal appeals court panel on Thursday put on hold a lower court judge’s order to end operations indefinitely at the immigration detention center in the Florida Everglades dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz.”

The three-judge panel in Atlanta decided by a 2-1 vote to stay the federal judge’s order pending the outcome of an appeal, saying it was in the public interest. The ruling will allow the facility to continue holding detainees for the time being.

U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams in Miami issued a preliminary injunction last month ordering operations at the facility to be wound down by the end of October, with detainees transferred to other facilities and equipment and fencing removed.

No he didn't mandate it. But common sense went out the window and he enabled that. He let the deep state con artists con him and I hold him responsible. I can still get behind making America great. No way he admits he made a mistake. Not happening. People say his operation warp speed saved us. I watched a crowd boo him in Alabama after he said I recommend taking the vaccine. Then he said he took the vaccine. Not a chance in hell he got the “vaccine”. Was it for show? My dad is possibly a victim of turbo cancer, and I signed him up for it against my will. He was probably 79 at the time. I tried prolonging it as long as I could. He told me I want to get it over with after hearing relatives his age took it and to sign him up. It was early on but it didn’t sit well with me. I fell for the whole Covid thing hook line and sinker early on. The fear mongering was real and about a year into it I started waking up. My dad watched fox news religiously and fell for their shit. Like most older folk he didn’t have access to the World Wide Web or at least didn’t know how to utilize it. I stopped watching Fox News the day their resident doctor Marc Siegel promoted Remdesivir. I found video on YouTube regarding Remdesivir used in Ebola studies. Fuck Fox News.. lastly….my dog was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma cancer after needing one of his eyes removed in December of 2023. He was given 9 months to live and Fenbendazole has kept him with me. Not sure for how long but he’s still with me.
