A small handful of new FBI executive positions might be retained with new people in place picked by Patel and Bongino. But the Special Agent work force is going to shrink significantly as I think there could have been no stronger message sent to that work force that their jobs are not going to be what they have been for the past 10 years. You don't suppose, with all these Commie Governors and AG's suing the Trump admin, that they are being used by the Trump team as useful idiots to argue in court for state's rights? It would be brilliant. Use them to dismantle the unconstitutional overreach and power of the federal government over the states? Maybe I'm overthinking this.
