Are they more afraid of their benefactors or Trump and the people? That will be the battle throughout all confirmations. Recess appointments excepted.
Genuinely curious why everyone thinks these recess appointments will work and not be met with legal challenges. Is the idea to appoint the whole cabinet and overwhelm the possibility of legal challenges? SCOTUS has ruled that recess appointments for short recesses are unconstitutional. It seems like most people think this will just work....help me out here.
