My reply to a Twitter pos celebrating Rush’s death.
I was in a meeting today with a contractor on my project. He was telling us that the cost of PVC pipe has skyrocketed since the Keystone Pipeline was killed because PVC is a byproduct of oil. Some engineer in the meeting tried to say that was an exaggeration and the contractor shot him down. Contractor was like “don’t tell me, I’m the one who has to buy this stuff”. It was funny to witness.

It’s a prime way that leftists take people’s freedoms away - by making individuals obligated to make choices not based on their own preferences and what is good for the individual, but based on what is good for other people and the collective, even if it is bad for the individual.

I just got back from a dairy queen run...
