They're getting their drunk on at a bar with my dad's best friend.
This is my chance. I get to lecture them to wishing they were in hell. My inner 16 old self has been patiently waiting for this moment. I'm taking my shot. I may even make them sit up straight while I pace in front of them with a very disapproving look on my face. Can't wait to tell them to wipe that look off their face.
Seriously, they're okay Still no power, but they'll go to their church. They were thinking of staying in the house until I pointed out they have never been as cold as they will be tonight and I have and they were worried for me and the kids. It's miserable. which is another level of hilarious. I'll be there as soon as the roads clear... looking like Saturday.
Uh no. My dad tips well when he's overserverd, though. I know this because he tipped me $500 when he played in our golf tournament honoring my father in law and I resumed my bev cart 'career '
The Olive Open raised hundreds of thousands for MD Anderson and Dayton Children's oncology, each, through the ten years we held the open. I'm the only person to ever drive a beverage cart at Moraine Country Club
@Nape.
My husband bought that beverage cart at the auction and we gifted it to DCC with the stipulation that it would be transported to Moraine for the Olive Open.
For y'all that don't know. I met my husband the first day I was on the bev cart and his first day as the new golf pro. I missed killing him by about 5 feet.....And laughed. So did he (his laughter was in relief that he wasn't dead, naturally).
