Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

What I'm am talking about is something recent about a new very inexpensive drug that essential wipes out all cancers. As I recall it was on here maybe a year ago.
The tension worldwide seems to ratchet up every single day. I can't imagine not having any idea wtf is really going on. I have to admit I didn't watch that video but the cover photo is identical to what we make. For the sauce, we use gochujang sauce(2 tbspn), honey(2 tbspn), brown sugar(4 tbspn), soy sauce(4 tbspn), 2 cloves minced garlic, minted ginger(2 tspn), sesame oil(1 tbspn) and vegetbale oil(1 tbspn).
For the coating we use:
1 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp chili flakes
We also marinate the chicken for at least a few hours in:
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/4 tsp garlic salt
That shit will knock your socks up and down. I also love clipping fresh green onions from our garden and liberally coating the chicken after frying. That's the key for me personally.
