Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Love everything that happened other than the duration of head shots after he was out. He deserved a hit or two two extra imo ,(not in the head though) and not that many. That being said I don't blame the guy who hit him, he didn't appear to start it. One dude had plenty of opportunities to walk away. Dumb games dumb prizes.

I grew up with good old boys like him. Critical thinking is not their strong suit in normal situations. If the shit goes down don't cross them, don't boss them they are wild in their sorrows and they will deal you some serious pain.

They played at my small school dances. When I visited my Grandparents on Lookout Mountain I saw and listen to them practice on Sunday afternoons on their front porch. They worked laying carpet and played the SC Bowery before making it.
After their success, they bought our small town bank.
