Master Thread Dance Your Cares Away/Fraggle/Law Abiding Citizens

Master Threads

It never ceases to amaze me when all of the ass clown politicians finally come around and see the light on certain issues after the Patriots have known the same exact things they're saying and been shouting it from the roof tops for almost 2 years.

...oh wait, it doesn't amaze me especially considering this is an Election year. It's mind numbing watching the games they play Election cycle after Election cycle and people are still oblivious to their shit and vote them right back in.

***As of 1/20/22 she hasn't announced she's running for re Election....expect an announcement very soon after this new proclamation.

Can you all give me some good Telegraph follows? I have about 5 right now, but I plan on using that platform (and this forum) as my main source of news. Thanks.

I have a small request:

We are trying to increase participation on the Main Forum. I understand many come here just for this thread, but I believe that it would be better for the site overall with a more active forum.

Create a thread, comment on a thread, like some posts. Not wanting to pull any discussion out of here, just trying to improve what we bring to the table as a community.

There are only so many Iowa related mayonnaise deaths @Croot_Overlord

I know right? A lot of the regular posters here participate, but a couple more active posters go a long way.

Plenty of good stuff on there and if you click the master thread button it will take you to some regularly bumped useful and amusing threads. You have to click the button from the main forum, I don’t think it works within thread view

This bears repeating. Everyone should make a point to start a new thread this month.

2 is ugly by comparison.

Something resonates within Americans when they see another people fighting for freedom. True freedom for all is the only acceptable outcome at this point. Nationally and globally. I was watching viva frei on yotube and he actually videoed the counter protest in Ottowa. The contrast was startling. Freedom loving flag waving on one side and another full of really dark energy and negativity. That's exactly the situation here in the states. What a time to be alive!

Damned Yankee. When I lived in Arkansas, I was at the local feed store one day.
And a pushy guy came in you could tell he was not local and definitely not from the south.
When he finished his business and left the store. Old man sitting on a bag of feed says. Damned Yankee.
I started snickerin, and old guy, says yah know until I grew up and left home to join the army. All I ever heard them called was Damned Yankee.

We might know each other. Certainly know some of the same people. I worked in field sales in Atlanta the bulk of my career and finished in Tampa on the Champs Team. Sold apparel and equipment from '92-'04. My 401K wished I had stayed longer but you can't go back. Sales is all but wiped out now. You are correct about the Shaq pitch.
I was on campus when that happened. The way I heard it, Phil came into the room to greet him and his team. As it was told to me, Phil explained how he was very much a hand shake type of guy when it comes to these types of deals. They promptly laid out their demands the size of the NY phonebook.
Phil excused himself while pulling one of the presenters aside. Told him, make the pitch, but we aren't signing him.
Loved going out there in the summer but hated every other trip. Still have many good friends there in Dir. or VP roles. Many didn't survive the last round of layoffs(mostly sales).
I would say so if you were in the Tampa and Atlanta offices. Scott Carey was down there at the time in Tampa, and Rob Whitlow hired me into sales in 1995 out of Atlanta - I had been with Nike since 1991 when I got out of college.

Loved working with Rob and all of the southern region guys who taught me a ton as a young pup earning my stripes as Sam Bowen used to say. Him, Paxton, Sherman Eller, Steve Scott… Did you ever hear the story of how Rob got out of working an account - man that guy had balls and as an ex marine leader he was so respected and feared. He really looked out for me and helped my career. Will have to catch up and trade stories.

You don’t need FU money. Very simple ways you can do it too.

1. Pay somebody’s meal… without them knowing.
2. Pull over and buy somebody a tire that has a flat on the side of the road.
3. Pay for someone’s groceries.
4. Pay for someone behind you in the drive thru.
5. Ask the local school, church if there is a family in need and donate to the kid’s lunch bill or buy them groceries or pay a months rent or the electricity.
6. Donate time at a shelter or food pantry.
7. Pay someone’s daycare bill for a month.
Lots of ways to do things and folks never know… you will never feel better!
I have done 1-3-5-and 6. In my mind charity if that is the correct word should always be anonymous.

Know all those guys. My initials are the first 3 letters in my signature. You definitely know me. Work with them in the SE region.
I now work with Steve Scotts brother at Tempur-Sealy. I’m out right now but shoot me a PM.
