Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I think some of this has to do with Joe dropping the 'N' word in some of his older podcasts.
Someone recently made a mash up vid of him using the language, of course they dont mention Howard Stern saying it thousands of times throughout his career but you know, hes no threat to the marxist.
Not excusing it, but context of course matters. Joe released a vid recently apologizing for his past comments.

No protection of speech, and you have to speak French (I am assuming the French Canadian dialect?) in order to become the PM.
Disclaimer, the US constitution is also under attack and in recent years it’s obvious the justice dept is impotent and rulings are ignored due to legislation from the bench. The other two branches doing what they feel like and sidestepping the rule of law by teaming up with private industry to do the govt bidding.

Well technically Canada is actually under 2 legal systems. In Anglo Canada it is English Common Law and Quebec is Napoleonic Code.
I read a Supreme Court of Canada ruling in a murder trial. The man was acquitted under the Magna Carta, so the Magna Carta is still of force and effect in English Canada.
