GO FUCK ME BACKS DOWN
If it costs GoFundMe $15 per charge back, people should donate to whatever, request an immediate refund and if they haven't responded in 10 minutes dispute the charge with their credit card company just to zing GFM with a $15 charge. Bankrupt them. Sort of like people did with Robin Hood.

Well I'd like to think people change over time. I shared the story just to show that where you come from and how it affects your attitudes, doesn't have to stick with you.
Shaq remembers his beginnings and sounds like he does allot of good on both a big scale and small. I love the organic good deeds. Would love to have FU money. I'd do the same thing.
Laughed when the fox anchor chick with dark hair actually said fu money on air yesterday.

Nike did have a pump that was Robinson's shoe(was a Force hightop). It came out at the same time. Difference was that while the Reebok shoe had an internal pump at the top of the tongue, Robinson had a hand held CO2 cannister inflator.
Quickly dropped.
We had the Air Command Force and 180 pump back in 1990-92 - I started with Nike in late 1991. We did not consider those to be real pump shoes 😉 I still remember when we tried to sign Shaq when he came out to Nike WHQ with his dad, and he was young then and immature and acted like an ass. Phil Knight, CEO, said no way do we ever try to sign him - he showed up to the meetings purposely wearing Reebok gear.

I spent a lot of time in Oregon traveling there for meetings… over a 25+ year career with Nike , and glad I did not move there like they wanted me to a few times. Between the crazy high taxes and crappy weather for 7-8 months s year(although May-October is awesome out there). Great memories and stories for sure but that company has changed in major way for the worse. They embody everything bad about woke culture and if you are a while male you are evil.

We might know each other. Certainly know some of the same people. I worked in field sales in Atlanta the bulk of my career and finished in Tampa on the Champs Team. Sold apparel and equipment from '92-'04. My 401K wished I had stayed longer but you can't go back. Sales is all but wiped out now. You are correct about the Shaq pitch.
I was on campus when that happened. The way I heard it, Phil came into the room to greet him and his team. As it was told to me, Phil explained how he was very much a hand shake type of guy when it comes to these types of deals. They promptly laid out their demands the size of the NY phonebook.
Phil excused himself while pulling one of the presenters aside. Told him, make the pitch, but we aren't signing him.
Loved going out there in the summer but hated every other trip. Still have many good friends there in Dir. or VP roles. Many didn't survive the last round of layoffs(mostly sales).

LACs are fed up with liberal nitwittery. It's time to use their tactics against them. It can been done without firing a shot, burning anything down or attacking them. Just make their lives uncomfortable and isolate them. Surrounding them with shit is a good start.
It will not surprise me if at some point we see DC completely shut off and not letting anyone (convoy, etc) in. They will have the military bring food and supplies when needed.

lol I asked for a pair of Reebok pumps when I was in 6th grade and the poors that we were my mom got me a pair of LA Gear pumps from payless shoes..... The ridicule from my classmates was brutal.

I do know Greg. We both worked in sales together in the 90's. He quickly moved over to marketing and was fast tracked to quite a bit of opportunities, including being the first marketing "handler" for Tiger. They are very close. Greg was one of a few friends and family that were on 18 for his first Master's win.
I'm connected with him on LinkedIn and I believe he's involved with the the Rockets now. You're right, good dude and athlete.
His smile is perfect for marketing.

I thought he was going to be a star at Maryland. That never really worked out but he was on some great teams with Len Bias IIRC.

I knew he was with Tiger at the beginning and just recently saw that he was with the Mavs in some capacity. SVP maybe?
