Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Do you know how long this has had to go to get even the average brain dead moron to figure out what is going on in this corrupt world? We are basically there now. Citizens at the local level are taking action against school boards and city councils, replacing members of these boards that do not have the citizens best for interest at the forefront. People see this trash at all levels and are demanding change.

Same here, my wife and kids had fevers. I never got one. For about three nights I would wake up like I was in a sauna and could wipe a handful of water off my forehead. It was weird, took a lot of NyQuil for a sore throat for three days.
I'm vaxed wife is not (I know I'm a faggit) literally no boosters for me. There was zero difference between us, but myself just able to push through the cold or Rona a little more then mope around.

Ya, lots of variables when it comes to testing here. I'm very needed where I work, so I was drinking NyQuil consistently so I didn't have to burn a shit load of sick PTO. If you pop positive is ten days and a negative with a DR signoff. Rather just take a few days off and return.
I do have to wear a mask outside my work space for the time being. Just due to work mandates for now unless I'm outside.

When Michigan State mandated vaccines, our initial reaction was to have our son transfer to Ohio State (where his sister went) or Hillsdale. He was crushed having to make a decision to leave. Thankfully, we were able to get a religious exemption. I would send a kid to Hillsdale in a heart beat.
