• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Florida Sues Biden, NASA Over Vaccine Mandate

Let me add the shield maiden prefers mustard base sauce and she makes her own and it's killer. I do prefer vinegar and red pepper for pulled pork or whole hog, but my old man's sauce is perfect on big beef ribs and pork ribs.

Dude, the shield maiden gets what she wants. Stop by Sweatmans in Holly Hill someday and you may be swayed. It’s a mess when we make pulled pork at the house. She’s cooking her shit and I am making mine. Shit everywhere. My old man’s sauce is a whole different ball game but you can’t bottle that pure essence. I feel strongly about sauces! We're both right - here's the actual plea deal:


"The defendant agrees to plead guilty to count 1 of the indictment charging the defendant of Conspiracy to Travel in Interstate Commerce in Aid of Unlawful Activities and to Sponsor a Dog in an animal fighting venture..."

Not supporting anything here at all or trying to argue. Just pointing out that the news slanted this to be much more about the cruelty when in fact The Feds got him on the Interstate Commerce. I just remembered actually reading that when it all came out.

Not unlike Al Capone was imprisoned for tax evasion even though everyone knew he was guilty of much worse.

Our elections are not reliable, and they are not honest. Plus, even if we elect new people by accident, they aren’t the ones actually running anything. If they were - Tom Cotton wouldn’t be telling Moderate Merrick he should resign, he’d be firing his ass.

Our “elected” officials are all figureheads. I’m convinced they don’t make any actual decisions about anything. They just hire Moderate Merricks to make all the decisions, and the Moderate Merricks have no consequences for being wrong.

How do we get our civil liberties back? Because I cannot think of one civil liberty we had - that the Moderate Merricks of the world hasn’t taken by attrition.

Is there a way to get them back? There has to be away?
