Is there/has there been a history of misallocation of state funds to BS democrat like projects that could be re-allocated towards schools? Something that the DOGE folks and Harry Bolz would find and announce to the country?
I suppose I should know this, but, is public education in FL supported exclusively by property taxes? How much is FL spending per student compared to other states?

Meanwhile, Dimon and Chase are closing branches, removing drive-in lanes, reducing staff at open banks, and installing ATM machines so people have to use them for their banking needs. After my knee replacement, I had to drive past 2 Chase banks that closed their drive-in lanes to get to one with the lanes still open since I was unable to walk into and stand in lines inside the local bank.
My local ISD fired its Superintendent for malfeasance and paid to move a woman from Georgia in as Super. She was involved in a Georgia cheating (or other issue) scandal (I don't recall the specifics) which was known. After 6 months, she was fired, given a year's severance, and paid to move back to Georgia. The person who replace her came from an ISD in SE Texas which was taken over by the state for corruption and other illegalities. He brought 2 of his cohorts with him as well as wife and girlfriend. He was terminated after 1-2 year. The person in place now, immediately hired 10-12 new admins at over 100K each. And we wonder why the ISD continues to get D's and F's in state rankings. But they have won numerous state championships in football and basketball throughout.

Texas gave a $100,000 property tax exemption for the homestead during the last legislative session. This session the Texas Legislature wants to increase the exemption to $140,000. Apparently, cities have a choice to pass on the exemption to taxpayers. My town, and several surrounding it, give $0 exemption. I have 5 entities that tax my property. I get the exemption on 4 of those. But, property values are not reduced for city taxes.
If they ban Big Pharma ads many of the TV executives and talking heads will have to take a massive pay cut. Wegovy and Ozempic will have to be used in the payroll departments.
It's not just USAID that gives taxpayer money to media and others. The article linked below says that many Texas agencies give millions to newspapers in Texas. Among those is the Texas Tribune, which has ties to George Soros, received almost $350,000. Can you say Government Propaganda?

That’s hilarious. People really need to look up FERS. If I took early retirement I’d get around $2,100 a month. The old retirement system was good, real good. Not many left still on that program.
Did the same in VA. It’s taking away a lot of front line Veteran support people. My employees have lost five mobility managers that I know of that were managing transportation for Veterans to get them to and from care.
SES’ers are exempt from return to work requirements and weren’t affected by this either. Ironically, they’re the ones that need to be cleaned out. Many stand in the way of positive change and will slow play an effort to wait out a presidents term
