I’m still torn about it to be honest. There’s a wealth of healthcare knowledge in family between my brothers and my dad, and they’ve all had the vaccine, as has my mother. They all said everyone they spoke to (that knew about vaccines) mollified their concerns and they didn’t see any reason to be worried about the effects of any of the vaccines.
Now my mom is starting to ask me when I’m going to get the shot. I’m in my early thirties and don’t have kids, so I have been holding firm to my concern about fertility issues with this vax and using that as my reason for holding out. I’ve told them I’d want to wait for the J&J one that isn’t mRNA based. But I don’t know shit, this is just a long post to say I am torn as well.
Everyone in my family is very reasonable and we’re all on the same page politically. But I personally believe there is no reason for me to get injected with a vaccine to inoculate me against a virus with a 99.8% recovery rate. I run 20-30 miles a week and will take my chances if I get the virus. As long as they’re all vaccinated they shouldn’t worry, right?
My point - I’m telling y’all, everything about covid-19 is rotten to the core and has evil written all over it. Deception, intimidation, manipulation.. this entire covid saga has been a weapon of evil.
