Still think Noem is the best option, will bring in some of the suburban housewife's
Tucker would bring a lot more support IMO. Not that he’d want to be VP because he has a great thing going for himself but his voice is well heard from all different perspectives. Most suburban housewives wouldnt know Noem if she introduced herself to them.

Biden campaign tests Trump’s name-calling strategy with ‘Broke Don’

President Biden’s reelection campaign has dubbed former President Trump “Broke Don,” taking a strategy out of Trump’s playbook that his political rivals know all too well.
Trump has used nicknames — from “Little Marco” to “Crooked Hillary” to “Lyin’ Ted” — to put down a variety of opponents. For much of 2020, Biden’s moniker, courtesy of Trump, was “Sleepy Joe.”
Now, the Biden team is seeking to turn the tables in attempting to make one stick to Trump while it worked this week to highlight the former president’s lagging fundraising numbers in the 2024 race.
Trump has picked on dozens of opponents with his nicknames since he first ran for office. Over the years, that’s included not only fellow presidential contenders, such as when he dubbed Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) “Pocahontas,” but also lawmakers he has considered his ultimate rivals, such as “Cryin’” Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y), the Senate Majority Leader, and former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), whom he’s called “Crazy Nancy.”
Some have been considered offensive, while others have been deemed just silly name calling.
The Biden team is now trying their hand at lambasting the former president, often by poking fun at his debts as he faces mounting legal penalties, leaving some Democrats questioning if that’s the right move.
“The Biden team’s instinct to earn free media, try to get under his skin, and go on offense is the right one. But mimicking Trump has been done before and has never really worked,” one Democratic strategist said.
“You can’t out-Trump Trump because he’s the original version. I would say they need to be more creative in producing their own original and unique strategy to bring him down a peg that shocks and awes,” the strategist added.
Bruce Mehlman, a former official under President George W. Bush, cited Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw to warn against such a tactic.

Hundreds of thousands of financial aid applications need to be fixed after latest calculation error

WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. Education Department said it has discovered a calculation error in hundreds of thousands of student financial aid applications sent to colleges this month and will need to reprocess them — a blunder that follows a series of others and threatens further delays to this year's college applications.
A vendor working for the federal government incorrectly calculated a financial aid formula for more than 200,000 students, the department said Friday. The information was sent to colleges to help them prepare financial aid packages but now needs to be recalculated — even as the department works through a backlog of more than 4 million other financial aid applications.
A statement from the Education Department says the problem won't affect 1.3 million applications that were processed correctly and distributed to colleges this month. Officials said they have fixed the error and it “will not affect future records."
It's unlikely that many students, if any, received financial aid offers based on the incorrect information since the department only began sending records in the last two weeks. Once colleges receive that information, it usually takes several weeks to assemble financial aid packages.
Students applying for college have been left in limbo this year as they await the Education Department’s overhaul of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The form, known as FAFSA, is used to determine eligibility for federal Pell Grants, and colleges and states use it to award their own financial aid to students.
The update was meant to simplify the form but took months longer than expected. It gives colleges less time to make financial aid offers to students, and it gives students less time to decide where to enroll.

Found this part of the article quite interesting

MAP is another foundation that tracks the philanthropic funding cultivated by these organizations.

Currently Numerous law enforcement and emergency crews are currently on the scene in Bastrop County, Texas, Due to a major crash on Highway 21 after a school bus collided and crashed into a cement truck, causing the bus to roll over. Over 40 people are involved in the crash including children, with 32 individuals already transported to a hospital, including both adults and children. Tragically, at least two fatalities have been confirmed, including one child. First responders are urging people to avoid the area

This is literally my "nightmare" call at the fire station.

Real women ( Republican women) do not like other women so they would not vote for Noem. Stupid, ugly women ( Demoncrats) would never vote for her either. Having a woman on Repub ticket is a lost cause
