Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Got Zeke for me before I was one and he died when I was 16. I buried him in our little pet cemetery. We could point and tell him to bring the cows in and walk away with the corral open. Come back and then work the cattle.

Donations always help us stay ahead of things like this. We have a good stream of monthly donations that help us maintain, but increasing server space will increase expenses.
The other option would be deleting content from the site, and we aren’t going to go that route

The other option would be to not host images posted on the server. This is why the rivals sites don’t let you post images directly to their sites. You have to post on another site and then link the image. The amount of data difference of a link to a jpeg is exponentially different.
I love the ability to post images directly, however, i would chose to lose that ability to sustain the site.
One option would to only let Patrons post direct images. Those are the ones paying for the site. The free loaders can use imgur.
