It's a tough question though. Trump was far from perfect in his time as president, but he also did some good stuff from a policy perspective. He also made a lot of bad choices on staffing and appointments though, so it's not like he was perfect. I think DeSantis could be the guy in the future though, and would not necessarily want Trump and him in a cage match.

Im pretty sure he sifted through the swamp of people he had to pretty good. It was his first time in that areana and trying to figure out who was good and not was done at a pretty high level.
