Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

On C-SPAN3 they just showed about 3 hours of a get together with the actors, family members of the vets and production company members talking about making this documentary. They told behind the scene stories of auditions, filming the series, stories of their interaction with the members of Easy Company and much more. If it is shown again watch or record it. Amazing.

Not sure the statute of limitations on destroying a mailbox so I'll just say that I heard a story about some guys in hs that used to destroy this one guys mailbox all the time. He'd make it better and stronger and they'd bust it again. Finally he did the brick mailbox thing and figured he'd won....
Well there was a rumor that those guys new a guy whose dad worked at a rock quarry and had access to explosives. Rumor was that they put a charge in there that they use to just break the rock without blasting the hell out of it. Turns out that a mailbox of brick isn't as sturdy as a limestone boulder and that mailbox made the kids really nervous for a few seconds that the houses around weren't missing windows or had a hole in the roof.... Or that is what I heard.
