Need some intel from anyone working in NYC, heading up for meeting this week for the first time since Covid. Been told no issues with restaurants, taking a long time employee out who is leaving.
Concerned about getting into my company office the following day. Have heard no vax passports checked or asked for, but a client of mine told me their building is still requiring for entry? Any real intel is appreciated?

Read they are going to put a couple of covid boosters in the common flu vax for this fall. That should kill a few more million sheep
This is not true. The flu shots this year are the same as always. I do believe they are working on a combo jab that will contain both, but that is not what is available now. Take one or don't take one, but don't make that decision based off of false rumors; The current flu vaccine has a long history of safety along with a mixed bag of effectiveness.

OK so far you are right. But it is in trials and very likely will be approved soon.
As far as the actual flu vaccine being safe, I don't believe that for a minute. Since when should children as young as 6 months get a flu shot. Or anyone else who does not have serious health issues. I have known a few people, who quit getting flu shots and it seemed when they did get the flu, it hit them hard, it weakens your natural immunity. Plus 9 times out of 10 the vaccine they push is never the one needed for the current virus type. It is all BS to sell product for the BIG PHARMA boys and the government is their major sales force pushing their garbage.
If the vaccine they push never matches the virus each year anyway. Why in hell are you getting the jab?

I'm getting the jab so that I can tweet that I have tested positive for the flu but am thankful that I was jabbed or would have been much worse.
But seriously, I have not decided if I'll get a flu shot this year or not. Probably will. It is designed as a true vaccine in that a small amount of actual chopped up virus is injected to help your body create an immune response to help prevent infection. I am also not trying to convince anyone to get it or not. I got a flu shot last year and still got the flu. It sucked. I also work in an environment where I have a high probability of being exposed. As we both stated, it does not always work due virus mutations. Some years it works better than others:
From a WebMD article(https://www.webmd.com/LUNG/NEWS/20200902/HOW-EFFECTIVE-IS-THE-FLU-VACCINE)
Because flu viruses mutate constantly and the vaccine wears off over time, you can’t get vaccinated once and expect to be covered for years, as you can with other diseases. The vaccine must be changed each year, in hopes of matching the ever-mutating viruses. And that’s been a challenge. On average, it’s been 40% effective, meaning it’s prevented illness 40% of the time. Since health officials started tracking it in 2003, effectiveness has varied from year to year, ranging from a low of 10% in 2004-05 to a high of 60% in 2010-11.

60% of the time, it works every time.

Most buildings don’t care but you should call the building owner/manager to be sure. Easy enough to look up. I’ve gone into my office (unvaxxed and exempted) and into Weworks and none of them have cared. Your company is the next thing to worry about because NYC technically still has office mandates in place unless you are granted an exemption. But it is really up to your employer policy. I don’t have anyone checked at my office ever, so idgaf what our worthless mayor is doing as a policy. No visitors no candidates, no one checked since January. There are still a tiny few restaurants that are still pretending, though, so you may have to call them beforehand to confirm. Yelp is completely wrong on most listings. Enjoy your trip.

Why would anyone take a Vax at this point?

Scared of the flu?

Eat right and get outside

None of the "data" can be trusted

And to think they mass produce effective and safe potions for evolving viruses is preposterous in my view

Enjoy your jabs, the medical inoculation complex has your back

yah like i said. in my opinion, the flu vax is pretty worthless if you are healthy. you own numbers of 40% effective confirm this fact
