I just watched a Fulton J Sheen episode on patriotism. The concept dates back to the Greek word "pietras" which grouped love self, neighbor and country together. I was fortunate to have a job where the jab was not mandatory. Well, my boss was pissed I didn’t get it and would not let me in the office. I worked remote (outside sales). My wife was never mandated to get it. Our oldest daughter (24) got it voluntarily and now regrets it. Our youngest got a religious exemption to attend college. We are all extremely happy with our decisions.

Brain death in trauma is not always an immediate thing. Much of the damage is from swelling and later ischemia. It is different from an anoxic brain injury like a drowning or cardiac arrest but ultimately the same result. I remember seeing that she ended up with a cardiac arrest which is probably what caused her brain death. You are living proof of someone who is obviously brain dead but can make purposeful movements at the same time.
