I disagree. But even if it is true, I don’t care if my kid’s teachers lean left. I talk to my kids and can correct or provide counter points for anything I disagree with. But leaning left and being a pedo groomer are not even close to the same thing, especially in this setting.

I don’t think it’s any coincidence that Desantis’ press/comms lady left to work for his campaign last week and he went off message and insulted 200,000 voters in basically his next big public appearance. And 200k is just the teachers - doesn’t include other people in education and all their families. Regardless of what he thinks of teachers, it’s not smart to insult voters. My younger brother and I did this every summer for years. There was not one pinch of fat anywhere on our bodies. Our entertainment was shooting gophers, with handguns and .22's and drinking piss warm beer.
Our balls hadn't dropped yet so we were not stealing farm trucks to get to town chasing girls. That came later.

I'd take a soaker over a gully washer any day. Of course beggers can't be choosers and if it's been dry any rain is welcomed. An old farmer once told me we are always only three weeks from a drought. Probably some hyperbole there, but not too far off.

No he is right, especially if it has been real hot and windy. I spent a few weeks one summer with the RV ready to evacuate, we were surrounded by wildfires.
Makes you appreciate getting rain. Even if i causes us some delays etc. Far rather that than burned out.
