Master Thread Dance Your Cares Away/Fraggle/Law Abiding Citizens

Master Threads
I just don’t feel like things are dark though. I have many blessings and lots for which to be thankful.

Politics only affect your life as much as you allow.
Sure for now. What 15 years ago Venezuela was the 8th largest economy in the world and the largest in South America. Look at them now.

And as for the dark comment, was more referring to the tone of your post. You seemed like you couldn't do anything and there was no way to win. Just saying things always look the worst before they turn.

I thought this thread was going to be Ralph Macchio nudes. Am disappointed.
Thought Elizabeth Shue nudes.

I'm a 26yo newbie attorney and considering my generation and the people I interact with, I'm in the extreme minority with my thoughts on where we are as a nation. These people don't care and my concern is they never will. Won't stop me from moving forward and doing all I can to duly demonize all these political elites that don't want anything to do with truly representing them.

U gonna go out and sun bathe or something? Lol

All the casinos have AC...

I have been in Laughlin at the casinos when it has been 118 degrees...and I didn't even notice it...cause I was Inside, gambling and getting drunk like the rest of the normal people ;)
Ha ha....2 experiences in July. Daughters was in best friends wedding and they decided to walk 1 mile to reception. Wife and I stopped on the way to Sedona vacation and it was 121.

We get up to 110 once in a while in Idaho, that said 120 on concrete is different if you like to be outside.

I think comparing Venezuela to the US is a bit of a reach, but I don’t disagree that lib policies are bad for the country.

There are many things that are can’t be won. Politics is one of them- it’s a never ending fight.

I’ve got a bronze star for valor. Been on 6 combat deployments....know what it means to fight but is THAT what we have to do?!? Are we gonna have to really literally fight? Do I need to call on my brothers from the VFW and elsewhere to start up a militia? I need to know HOW we are gonna fight man.
It might come down to that. I damn sure hope not, but that might really be what it takes.

A wise man told me 40 plus years ago to solve this countries problems....lock in 20% Federal tax, 5% State and 3% local. That’s all they get and they need to balance budget from there. Miss him to as he was my Dad.

He also RX limit law school admission like medical and veterinary does. That way lawyers would be doing what we needed and not being ambulance chasers or politicians.

Welcome! We need people like you more than us Gen-Xers (and Millennials / Boomers). Not your crew’s fault but they’ve been brainwashed. Do what you can do, most importantly stay in the discussion!

Universities can fuck themselves too. My daughter is getting screwed over on scholarships because a bunch of schools she’s applied for are not considering test scores because apparently Covid has caused some kids to not be able to take an ACT exam. She has a 3.93 gpa and scored a 30 on her ACT while earning 12 college hours as a senior but she can’t get a full ride anywhere because test scores are not considered. Meanwhile some functional retard in bumfuck rural Arkansas gets a full scholarship because he/she graduated with a 4.0 in what could be described as 5th grade English or math. And that’s not to mention private scholarships. My wife and I make too much money and we’re too pigment-challenged to receive one of those. Fuck.

Yep. Just suck it up and pay. Send her to a state school though- private schools are not worth the money. They would be better off if you invested the tuition difference in an index fund and give it to them when they are 40 or 50.

Also, it will never happen because we have a bunch of crooked shitbags creating the bills

Everyone keeps saying keep up the fight.....hold the line....blah blah blah.....HOW are we supposed to fight? Are we supposed to be like antifa and go disrupt a bunch of shit? Are we supposed to just live our lives and let the freedoms we’ve enjoyed be taken away? Are we supposed to all run for Congress now? HOOWWW are we supposed to fight?
This is a great question and one i am going to try and address with Missouri's other Senator. I want Roy Blunt out of office. He is similar to Mitch, Graham and others who have lived off of the taxpayers. I hope @PinkelsVisor and @MIZCDB join me in that task. Any others from Missouri should do the same. If there are local House representatives that need booted too, let me know how i can help. Let's make this a movement they will never forget.

Since we are throwing out titles, I am a Xennial. Unfortunately I was not listed in the above identifications. You should know my pronouns are: he, him, and it.

This is the new norm, so I hope this helps!

Just my experience with the contact tracing deal. My son had somehow avoided being quarantined via the school system all year until last week.

They sent him home last Friday for a "possible exposure" traced back to the previous Thursday, but he could come back on Tuesday (yesterday). He went back yesterday, made it an hour and a half and got called in again due to a "possible exposure" last Wed. He's now quarantined from school through this Friday and scheduled to return next Monday.

It's all frigged up but I guess they are doing the best they can and at least our school systems never batted an eye and have been & remain open since day one. Fully opened, all sports, all activities, no mask mandates in the system.

They have a number set at I think 20% of students quarantined at any one time and they close the doors. Thus far the top number we've hit is right at 10%, which has been steady since early Dec.

Lucky for us our son is a good student and has kept up with everything throughout this mess pretty well. A lot of kids however aren't even trying to go to school much less participate online. I worry that's happening across the country and we're going to see the effects for years to come.

Can't wait to see the fallout and the inevitable bitching and moaning coming from the left when an entire generation they've set back a year can't compete getting into college and later the workforce.

Excuse me? Arkansas finishes top 50 in education every year!
