Yes very cool. Big Thoughts. It is not going away either, most of the 3rd world citizens have absolutely no access to banks or bank accounts they use crypto. The Masters and OverLords are terrified because we become our own banks. Read up on Defi, you become your own mortgage broker and banker. You will really not need a bank soon. It will be peer to peer transactions.

I have been researching and playing a bit very small, I am learning. Here is the catch I see, no they can't crack the encryption, but they nail you when you bring the crypto from cyber space to an onshore national account and try to convert to dollars. Have not figured a legal way around this road block.

Sell your crypto to a friend for cash, it will never touch a bank.

Paul Revere’s Ride

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow - 1807-1882

Listen, my children, and you shall hear
Of the midnight ride of Paul Revere,
On the eighteenth of April, in Seventy-Five:
Hardly a man is now alive
Who remembers that famous day and year.
He said to his friend, “If the British march
By land or sea from the town to-night,
Hang a lantern aloft in the belfry-arch
Of the North-Church-tower, as a signal-light,—
One if by land, and two if by sea;
And I on the opposite shore will be,
Ready to ride and spread the alarm
Through every Middlesex village and farm,
For the country-folk to be up and to arm.”
Then he said “Good night!” and with muffled oar
Silently rowed to the Charlestown shore,
Just as the moon rose over the bay,
Where swinging wide at her moorings lay
The Somerset, British man-of-war:
A phantom ship, with each mast and spar
Across the moon, like a prison-bar,
And a huge black hulk, that was magnified
By its own reflection in the tide.
Meanwhile, his friend, through alley and street
Wanders and watches with eager ears,
Till in the silence around him he hears
The muster of men at the barrack door,
The sound of arms, and the tramp of feet,
And the measured tread of the grenadiers
Marching down to their boats on the shore.
Then he climbed to the tower of the church,
Up the wooden stairs, with stealthy tread,
To the belfry-chamber overhead,
And startled the pigeons from their perch
On the sombre rafters, that round him made
Masses and moving shapes of shade,—
By the trembling ladder, steep and tall,
To the highest window in the wall,
Where he paused to listen and look down
A moment on the roofs of the town,
And the moonlight flowing over all.
Beneath, in the churchyard, lay the dead,
In their night-encampment on the hill,
Wrapped in silence so deep and still
That he could hear, like a sentinel’s tread,
The watchful night-wind, as it went
Creeping along from tent to tent,
And seeming to whisper, “All is well!”
A moment only he feels the spell
Of the place and the hour, and the secret dread
Of the lonely belfry and the dead;
For suddenly all his thoughts are bent
On a shadowy something far away,
Where the river widens to meet the bay,—
A line of black, that bends and floats
On the rising tide, like a bridge of boats.
Meanwhile, impatient to mount and ride,
Booted and spurred, with a heavy stride,
On the opposite shore walked Paul Revere.
Now he patted his horse’s side,
Now gazed on the landscape far and near,
Then impetuous stamped the earth,
And turned and tightened his saddle-girth;
But mostly he watched with eager search
The belfry-tower of the old North Church,
As it rose above the graves on the hill,
Lonely and spectral and sombre and still.
And lo! as he looks, on the belfry’s height,
A glimmer, and then a gleam of light!
He springs to the saddle, the bridle he turns,
But lingers and gazes, till full on his sight
A second lamp in the belfry burns!
A hurry of hoofs in a village-street,
A shape in the moonlight, a bulk in the dark,
And beneath from the pebbles, in passing, a spark
Struck out by a steed that flies fearless and fleet:
That was all! And yet, through the gloom and the light,
The fate of a nation was riding that night;
And the spark struck out by that steed, in his flight,
Kindled the land into flame with its heat.
He has left the village and mounted the steep,
And beneath him, tranquil and broad and deep,
Is the Mystic, meeting the ocean tides;
And under the alders, that skirt its edge,
Now soft on the sand, now loud on the ledge,
Is heard the tramp of his steed as he rides.
It was twelve by the village clock
When he crossed the bridge into Medford town.
He heard the crowing of the cock,
And the barking of the farmer’s dog,
And felt the damp of the river-fog,
That rises when the sun goes down.
It was one by the village clock,
When he galloped into Lexington.
He saw the gilded weathercock
Swim in the moonlight as he passed,
And the meeting-house windows, blank and bare,
Gaze at him with a spectral glare,
As if they already stood aghast
At the bloody work they would look upon.
It was two by the village clock,
When he came to the bridge in Concord town.
He heard the bleating of the flock,
And the twitter of birds among the trees,
And felt the breath of the morning breeze
Blowing over the meadows brown.
And one was safe and asleep in his bed
Who at the bridge would be first to fall,
Who that day would be lying dead,
Pierced by a British musket-ball.
You know the rest. In the books you have read,
How the British Regulars fired and fled,—
How the farmers gave them ball for ball,
From behind each fence and farmyard-wall,
Chasing the red-coats down the lane,
Then crossing the fields to emerge again
Under the trees at the turn of the road,
And only pausing to fire and load.
So through the night rode Paul Revere;
And so through the night went his cry of alarm
To every Middlesex village and farm,—
A cry of defiance, and not of fear,
A voice in the darkness, a knock at the door,
And a word that shall echo forevermore!
For, borne on the night-wind of the Past,
Through all our history, to the last,
In the hour of darkness and peril and need,
The people will waken and listen to hear
The hurrying hoof-beats of that steed,
And the midnight message of Paul Revere.

Between Biden’s EO and Janet Yellen”s foreshadowing comments, a CBDC will be chosen/developed in the next ~ 24-36 months.

They won’t be cut out so easily.
Admitted I’m not as up on my CBDC coins as I should be, but why would I buy one of those when I can buy Bitcoin? Isn’t that kind of the purpose, getting away from fiat? Why would I be interested in a us government backed coin?

The Cop haters in here can kiss my ass! Get you some!
I can’t speak for others, but before the BLM/Antifa riots as well as the COVID lockdowns I tended to side with law-enforcement around 1000-1. After watching cities all over the country getting burned, fascists looting, assaulting and murdering innocent people almost at will and the police standing by and doing little. Conversely, watching regular folks getting intimidated and harassed, Kicking mothers and children off of planes? Beating people down who just want their freedom? You’re damn right I have some concerns. If the law enforcement community doesn’t play along with their corrupt bosses, we don’t have issues. I’m willing to have a conversation with anyone in law enforcement regarding these concerns. It’s never the wrong time to do the right thing.

I’m not kidding at this point— they can suck a dick! The men and women I serve with would never act in contradiction to the constitution.
You couldn't even handle being an administrator on an anonymous message board without overreaching. Cops like you need no more "power" than you already have.

The worldwide covid lockdowns and mandates showed us how Leo's are going to enforce. Luckily there wasn't much of that in the states, but we also weren't locked down as harshly. I have little doubt Leo's and the military will do exactly what they are told to.

The wise Latino turns out to be not so fucking wise.

See that is what morons like Biden and others of that ilk do not understand.
Once they bring the system of Justice into disrepute and an honest man has no recourse to civilized law.
They leave us no choice but vigilante justice.
And guess who's name is at the top of the list?

Every cop in America should all sick out for about 30 days.
Let every BLM, Pervert and POS in America descend on the cop hating left.
The cops are not really the problem, it is a completely broken system now, are they all perfect hell no. But they did not make the rules.

They have jumped the shark with the justice system...it is gone in the minds of thinking Americans...their politicization of everything is immoral. I believe what they have done is irrepairable.

Meh. Lots of folks make mistakes. He owned his on here.

A lot of police quit during all that nonsense. And many more will not follow the marching orders. It’s amazing that people want anarchy over police. There are a lot of honorable people that would not have followed what other countries did.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised - The Bible says lawlessness will grow. What better way than to attack ALL police because of the actions of a few?

I want public televised hangings. I will watch.
My Dad who would be almost 120 years old if still alive today. One day he was telling us about when he was a young boy, he went to one of the last public hangings with his Father, my Grandfather.
He said looking back, he was in his 70's when he said this, he felt watching a criminal hang publicly stiffened a lot of backbones, and reminded the real criminals where they could end up.

It's all speculative at this point. And there are a bunch of rabbit holes that line up with some of the geopolitical rabbit holes that get discussed ITT.

BTC isn't going away and you're right, it will always be available.(unlike meme coins) I could see a future where a CBDC is backed by a commodity(gold etc.), or even BTC, or both/other.

Our current fiat system is being burnt to the ground intentionally. Not sure if it is being done by black hats or, white hats. But, it is going to implode.

Crypto speculation is the new gold rush. If you read the tea leaves and pick the right horse now, you could come out the other side of liquidity with generational wealth. @MortgageHorn has picked HBAR in another thread. It's a good pick and I also think it will make it through.

But, who knows.

RE: federal mask mandate

The timing combined with the judge who ruled on the masks has me thinking that it was all deliberately executed.

Biden just extended the federal mask mandate for travel less than a week ago. They want people to 'want' to wear masks IMO. If Biden and the regime drop the mandates themselves it sends a message to their devoted mindless followers that all is okay and to take them off. They cant have it end that way.

With this little stunt, and of course the judge being a Trump appointee, they can deflect while stirring the emotions of the masked sheeple, making them cling to them harder.

I might be reaching, but it just seems too coincidental to have gone down the way it has.

Here are Biden’s biggest worries from this.

Those numbers are actually inflated in his favor.

I am also certain the Trump comparative number (where Trump is higher) is suppressed.

And this with MSM constantly bashing Trump and propping up Biden.

Further, the downward trend- it’s not going to stop. While a sheep blindly follows him the sheep will lap up whatever cover the media provides. However, once an individual declares in their mind that they disapprove they will see every blunder.

Biden can’t bring people back once he loses them. The only way his numbers could improve is thru even more poll bias.
