The CDC has basically told people not to get tested unless they are exposed or sick. Basically their way of not increasing numbers of quarantining through bullshit contact tracing numbers.
The virus is thought to be most contagious the first 24-48 hours before signs and symptoms show up. Most things I've read says the ability to spread to others goes pretty much away after the first 2-3 days of sickness. Makes sense because your body is fighting it and has killed off a lot of the virus.
Its the god damned 10 - 14 days after a positive or contact with a positive bullshit that kills me. Especially for asymptomatic people. They readily admit that even if you are not sick anymore you can still throw off enough dead virus cells to have a positive test.Bunch of unnecessary precautions.
It should be treated like the regular flu. Nothing more.

I'm in. I've thought long and hard about politics for the last 4 years and have asked the internal question if I'd be willing to throw my name in the hat, even at the local level. Still doing the internal debate.
I love that some in this thread that have brought this up. It needs to be discussed and considered. Heck, just being part of this thread(in all it's versions) has shown me that I can name several, if not dozens of people more qualified and trusting of holding political office than the buffoons that currently do.
Regardless of outcome, I can't wait to see how this thread and future threads evolve.

In the interest of transparency while maintaining safety during a pandemic, the process will be conducted virtually on Thursday, January 21 at 2:00 pm.

Most counties and jurisdictions in the state will have at least one ballot selected with the vast majority of jurisdictions retrieving 25 ballots or fewer. Township was selected by the State Bureau of Elections to retrieve 68 ballots.

I just wouldn't put in all that work in a state that's purple like 1980.
Either pick TX now or choose another state that was very pro Trump but is also considered a swing state. Iowa, Ohio, FL. Those states won't see our hard work erased by Stacy fucking Abrahams. Too many eyes on 1980.
I'd love to fight the swamp but you don't just run someone against this sorta madness. We would need serious organization, money, insiders, and we would need to insulate the candidate from this thread (at least for appearance sake). Cant have our own pierre defecto moment early that kills our plans cuz you know the Deep State won't like what we are doing.

Q being real or not has opened so many eyes that it will never stop. My wife who never cared about this stuff is more involved then I am at his point. I have pretty much turned off all news sources except here but she is glued. If they pursue Q people it will just push the story that much more, which is a good thing. The more the truth gets talked about the more eyes are opened. I am disappointed in how things ended but this is just the beginning.
As for the local campaign stuff, I think that is a great idea. I would jump in but we already had that here in Parkland, FL. Trump supporting right winger was elected mayor. One of the many reasons I do not buy the election results. Would love if someone would go after Rubio in the primary down here but it needs to be somebody powerful. Godspeed to all you and stay safe!
