Few days ago I watched this 49min doco about the USS Liberty bombing, up until this point I didn't know much about the event, beyond vague references of some accidental attack.
Absolutely outrageous what actually happened, but has been so aggressively covered up.
After watching the doco, and having read the comms transcriptions of the Israeli jet & helicopter pilots, the control tower, and the torpedo boats crews, it's pretty clear they all damn well knew exactly what they were doing, and who they were slaughtering, and napalming, in this deliberate war crime, obviously they had intended to sink her, leaving no survivors.
Quite alarming, though I ain't surprised tbh, to learn about the decades of, and extent to which, lies that have been proliferated by both the Israeli and US Govts in order to weasel out of accountability for this atrocity.
Wondering whether this treachery is widely known in the states?
Few minutes ago I checked Wikipedia, and I know it's a bullshit site, I'm a bit pissed off that it's basically a garbled mess of fragmentary info, mixed with dis/mis-info which essentially distorts the facts, misleading the reader to a seemingly inconclusive understanding, as though it's still unknown as to what really occured.
