Not sure exactly what you mean, but I doubt that’s completely true. Who is your electric utility? This is how fkd up this industry is. We have no less than 6 wind farms within 50 miles of my house with another under construction less than 10 miles and we use none of the electricity generated from them.

There is no slippery slope.
We get our juice from a gas fired plant that was built in 69.Not sure exactly what you mean, but I doubt that’s completely true. Who is your electric utility?
Maybe. Those are “peaker plants” now for the most part that are only used at high peak load times or when the wind isn’t blowing. We get our juice from a gas fired plant that was built in 69.
When you see a headline that says "Breaking down", "What this really means", "Explaining x", "How will this impact you", you know an extra massive load of BS is to follow.
I’m checking. Got a call into a buddy who is on the BOD of our electric cooperative. I play golf with several landowners who have windmills on their property and that is where I got my info from.Maybe. Any investors on here if so, your thinking on ESG or Environmental, Social and Governance Policies
Look out petro dollar.
The Left wants massively expensive projects. Easier to hide their theft. That is what this is - theft.Didn't read the whole thing so it could have been stated. Virtually everything needs O&G products to operate and function. Replacing gas operated cars/trucks with electricity will require more producing capacity and massive infrastructure costs. As far as I know there are no solar powered electric generator plants - not these panels on roofs.
What no proponent is saying is the costs to go all electric will be massively expensive and will take decades to accomplish. Much more than currently being spent. To lead the way, put solar panels on AF1 to show the world how it's done. Idiocy fomented by cretins.
Yah I agree, was just reading the ESG policy on a company my grandson advised me would be a good investment.THEY ARE COMPLETE BULLSHIT AND A TRANSFER OF THE REMAINING WEALTH OF THE MIDDLE CLASS TO THE ELITES
In Other Words
THEY SUCK COCK!!!!!!
That isn’t even the biggest issue with wind energy. It takes a minimum of 5mph to get a blade turning. When is the most critical need for electricity? Mid day when temps are elevated and houses are trying to cool. When is there the least amount of wind? Mid day. It will not protect us when needed most.As we saw last winter in Texas, wind turbines can freeze up.
