Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Regardless, I don't recall hearing or seeing anyone in the US just all of the sudden fall over dead from Covid. It was a progression, and typically, one that would take weeks to progress that far. And if you felt bad enough to potentially die, you likely wouldn't be just walking around on the streets, or standing outside by yourself.
As others have said, it could have just been propaganda from the CCCP gov't as well, to stoke the fear in the international community.

Its like them going around and spraying streets and terraces with giant foggers, or the recent video of them using flamethrowers. I don't know what's going on over there now for them to be locking down again......but it looks a lot like the same tactics.
Yeah, it's definitely weird. The fog/flamethrower thing sure grabs your attention, but what's it actually doing? Unless you're somehow dealing with transmission through gnats or mosquitoes or something like that.
A little x-ray 101. I've been an x-ray technologist for over 30 years (retired now). The first image appears to be a child. I can tell that by the sutures (little gray line top center of first image that are spaces in between the calvarium (skull) bones that allow them to grow larger) and wisdom teeth (lower left corner of first image)
The large image below appears to be fake. Unless I saw the second image (a lateral or side view) I can not tell where this railroad tie was "in" her. I think it's a prank and someone placed either on top or below the skull and to an untrained eye would appear to be real. I can put any metal object on any person and you can not tell where it is with out a lateral view to see it's depth.
Also, notice both x-rays are not the same person. The last x-ray has no teeth which makes me think it's an older person or someone with no teeth (except the tiny little ridges on the lower jaw (mandible) area could be baby teeth but the wisdom teeth from the first x-ray disappear.
So, without more knowledge, it appears to be a hoax and two different people.
To me, this is the most obvious explanation. There are no posts or images on social media in China that the CCP doesn't condone. Those images and videos of people collapsing was likely all staged by the CCP.
I think it would be worth getting a PCR test to verify that you have Covid. Having a documented infection like this might be useful for you in the future. A documented prior infection allowed me to travel to Iceland last summer. They require proof of vaccination or prior infection to avoid the quarantine.
BTW, Iceland is an incredible country. I highly recommend traveling there.

I don't think Russia is going to invade Ukraine despite all that has happened. He does not have the element of surprise. Furthermore, what does he have massed at the border, 150,000 troops? I'm no military strategist, but I'd say you better have more than that if you are going to invade a country that has been preparing its forces for weeks, and is now getting NATO assistance. Putin may be seeing how much he can get away with, may be trying to distract us from something else, or may be ready to really pull the trigger and invade. This article made me think he (Putin) is not going to do anything other than poke the bear. They're not going to get real NATO assistance if it comes to a fight. But you might be right, re: element of surprise and timing. Germany isn't going to really assist a Russian enemy, they're all but Russian allies at this point, and Biden was preparing to send troops to neighboring countries, not Ukraine itself.
Putin will likely do it eventually. Why? It's what he is. He believes in expansion of Russia, and acquiring a piece of Ukraine strengthens them. He's not a globalist like the Europeans, he a nationalist Russian. While everyone was speculating that China would wait for the Olympics to be over and for Putin to invade Ukraine before they take Taiwan, it could be that Putin is waiting for all eyes to be on China.
Ukraine aside, the scary issue is Taiwan. If China takes it, then what are we to do? Taiwan produces almost 2/3rds of the world's semiconductors. Taking Taiwan would give them a stranglehold on the rest of the world that it would take decades to counter. To anyone paying attention to the world stage, we live in extraordinarily dangerous times. I don't know how anyone who is awake to the state of our world but does not trust in the King of Kings can find a moment's peace.

Richard Sakwa says that to prevent a challenge to American hegemony, Brzezinski argued that it was crucial that Russia be prevented from dominating Eurasia. Essential to Brzezinski’s strategy for preventing this Eurasian dominance was preventing Russia "from exerting any influence on Ukraine."
