This doesn't seem very plausible though.
It would be one thing if it wasn't a virtual inauguration and people were all showing up in person, pubs...then they have them all in one place or most all of them in one place to make round up pretty easy..
But a virtual one where very few pubs would even show up in person to attend? Yeah....that doesn't really pass the smell test...even a little bit.

I went down to the inlet here last night at dusk to see what this was about. First off, that tower has been there for a while ( 10 or so years) but what caught my attention from the video posted was that there appeared to be a cherry-picker with a radar on top of it. So wanted to see if that was temporary or if there was some action. I was on the north side of the inlet and it’s a few hundred yards away but I snapped a few photos (hopefully they post). FLL used to have a Navy presence back in WW2 era, but hasn’t since then. This tower was erected years ago and they look to be adding back to the base. Port Everglades is the largest petroleum port in FL with several large drums for all sorts of fuel storage. It’s also the deepest port south of VA. I scanned the horizon, could not see any Navy vessels but visibility from sea level is only 10 miles at best. I’ve been fishing many times out of here and we will run to the Bahamas and have seen Navy vessels 25-50 miles offshore, but that was years ago. So unless this tug - operator saw something else yesterday afternoon, I don’t think there is much to this.
