National Championships were in Milwaukee down by the famous Calatrava “Flying Building” in the inner cove. World Championships were in Chicago and the swim started straight down from the big fountain in Grant Park and to the south towards the observatory.

What don't you understand about it? White played Queen's gambit, black played queen's gambit declined, white fibonacci with a castle, black castle, mid game entered and then it was chess from there. With the black king trapped by his own pawns, black had to keep the rook on the A file to keep it closed, Rd4 was a massive blunder with the white queen threat. Black was the one who played bad moves, not white.
