Inflation is running rampant, and the GOP is helping the dems behind the scenes spring a bill that some estimates say will cost $5 trillion. We'll be paying $10 for a loaf of bread in a year or two, if something massive doesn't happen in the meantime.

The same things happen no matter who is in charge. They're just clandestine or slowed down if the GOP is in charge vs. the dems. Ultimately, McCarthy and McConnell have the same masters that Pelosi and Schumer do.
