Democrats are teeing up a vote on yet another partisan push to remove President Trump from office. They are forcing a vote in the House on a resolution that essentially blackmails Vice President Pence into invoking the 25th Amendment or else Democrats will impeach President Trump, even though he will be leaving office in 8 days.
We all know what’s going on here. Democrats aren’t interested in what the VP has to say in response to this resolution, and they really aren’t interested in the 25th Amendment at all. They have had one goal and one goal only since Trump came down that infamous escalator – to destroy him at all costs.
Democrats’ hatred of him and the millions of Americans that support him started years ago, and it has only grown with every success the Trump Administration achieved along the way – rebuilding our military, supporting Israel, defeating ISIS, lowering taxes, record-breaking economic achievements, securing hundreds of miles along our southern border, protecting religious liberty, confirming hundreds of conservative judges, historic Middle East peace deals, USMCA, energy dominance – the list goes on. Their motivations have been the same no matter the circumstance.
I would challenge Democrats to ask themselves – without Donald Trump, what would you talk about? What would you obsess over? What would your agenda be? Because without him, they have nothing. They don’t have plans to let you keep more of your hard-earned money. They don’t have plans to create a regulatory environment for your small business to boom.
