That’s nothing. I’m going the Kauai in July and there are no rental cars to be had. It’s OK since I got a shuttle to/from the resort. Just for kicks I checked on rentals on turo.com a car share/rental service and they had 2005 model sedans for $150/day with a minimum 5 day rental. Some tourists are renting U-haul trucks to get around. Crazy.

They still have a huge Wuhan testing/injecting site on the parking lot of a football stadium near me. When I drive by there are maybe 1-2 cars in line but 20-30 cars belonging to police officers and presumably nurses/testers/shooters parked next to the tents. I agree, the reports I've seen show friends and family of Chris Sign saying he was in no way suicidal. His wife was the love of his life and he was a family man - very much a good one it appears. Sign mentioned moving back to AL as something "he needed to do".

This doesn't sound suicidal, Sign recognized the threats were real and packed up his family and went home to AL.

NFL loosens COVID restrictions for vaccinated

In a memo released Wednesday, the NFL stated that COVID-19 protocols will remain in place throughout the preseason with strict restrictions for unvaccinated players. Fully vaccinated players will have most restrictions removed.

+ Daily testing, mask wearing and physical distancing

+ A quarantine if they have a high-risk exposure to someone with COVID-19

+ Significant restrictions when traveling, including required isolation in the team hotel and relegation to a separate team plane

+ A prohibition of meals with teammates

+ A prohibition on social, media and marketing sponsorship activities

+ A ban on gathering with more than three other players away from the team facility

+ A requirement to wear personal protective equipment to visit a night club or indoor bar that has more than 10 people in it

+ A ban on attending indoor concerts or other entertainment events.

+ A five-day delay between first reporting to training camp and participating fully in activities.

I’ve spoken to a couple of people very connected today

So I’m just gonna throw out some things that I heard that I think are going to happen pretty soon

The secretary of state as we have discussed is very very sleazy! I would not be surprised if he is in jail.

I have heard that some new things are going to come out about the governor of Georgia pretty soon. Some damning things. I don’t know all of the details. Supposedly some financial things.

Also as we know He made some huge mistakes a year ago by allowing Staci Abrams to walk all over him in the state of Georgia. He has tried some half ass efforts like voting reform And critical race theory to make up ground. But again these are half ass efforts and he really dropped the ball and shit on the country and Donald Trump. That was hard for me to except in the beginning but it’s very clear now. I also think he was directly threatened and his daughters boyfriend was killed but that’s another story. Regardless he failed the state of Georgia and the country

Herschel Walker is not going to run for Senate

Burt Jones is it going to run for lieutenant governor and announce that pretty soon
He is a great guy and we have talked about him before. Huge Trump guy

I have heard Stacey Abrams is not going to run for governor. I think she has her eyes on something in DC. But make no mistake that hippopotamus will be involved in the Democrat side of the governor race in Georgia

I think Vernon Jones has gained a lot of ground on the current governor. I believe people are going to be surprised at how well he’s going to do in a year and a half. I actually think he’s going to be the next governor of Georgia.

This was a Florida decision based largely on a provision in the Florida Constitution. The decision was from the 1st DCA and there is a conflicting decision in the 4th DCA. A conflict was certified and it may be taken up by the FSC.

Yep I posted something about this last night. I live about an hour from Atlanta. The metropolitan area of Atlanta has about 7 million people. The city of Atlanta has about 800,000 people. Buckhead is part of the city of Atlanta and has about 80,000 people. They have 10% of the population of the city of Atlanta and pay 90% of the taxes. They need to and probably will detach from the city of Atlanta. This should’ve happened a long time ago
