American Universities have screwed the US tech industries because Chinese nationals can’t get us security clearances nor do we want them to. Less American engineers is bad, but the universities got paid so they consider it no harm no foul. The Chinese students in universities was/is a huge issue. There were two Chinese and one Indian in my class (only four of us in a Masters class). One would ask me leading questions all the time. The other one seemed nicer and he kept telling me that the other was a “bad person”. They could have been pulling some good cop/ bad cop shit but who knows. The one kept asking me about “chips”
Also this is a real, documented technology from China, and all public reports state that they are ahead of us. It is one of the most concerning, if not the most concerning technologies that has come out in decades (according to public reports)
However, to some degree this is clearly propaganda to increase the defense budget. Especially with the White House comments. “Bring it on“ likely means we are about to spend some money IMO
We built shit like this in the 60s, but now we have to completely spin up a supply chain and start doing developmental testing. Why would you need HGVs if you have nuclear subs and carriers to flex…..well here we are. It's possible they have something we don't. Biggest deal are those hypersonic missiles which will effectively make A2/AD obsolete. Also could make carriers obsolete. I just can't imagine we'd have dropped the ball on something that crucial.
We'll probably get back to an era where dumb rounds make more sense to use than missiles. They have a defense system for humvees they've been developing for decades that shoot RPG rounds out of the air with a single round.

Information Age = Information WarfareI think war also changing so fast that as soon as just an idea comes out, it's obsolete. The drone shit, or really the nano tech where they can send a swarm of micro bots to chop up Xi is where this is all going. Mass warfare is ending.
It'll be like a high tech mob war. You'll have drones, mercs for plausible deniability, and hackers. Maybe sprinkle in some naval warfare. Nukes make a full blown war too dangerous.

Nope. These hypersonic missiles will always be intercepted by the space force. I believe the space force has some serious tech there that has not yet been shown to the public
Looks like another form of arms' race is about to begin
Like where is the reverse engineered tech Bob lazar was talking about?? Possibly with the space forceNope.
To some group of countrymen like the board at Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and other military contractors, it's healthy, to others,,,well its not.Well, Colonel John Boyd of the air force, the best fighter developer in history, used to say the following about his colleagues in the air force:
"They don't care what the Soviets are doing, they just care what the Navy is doing."
LOL, whether that is healthy for the country, I don't know.
As long as it creates a deeper divide and fear over Chyna I’m down. Way too many folks are WAY too lax about those monsters. What are the chances that this is the truth, and we just happen to put it out immediately after the news of China's test comes out? It seems like 1 of 2 things.
1. We're lying.
2. We've had this capability already, but want the world to know about it now that China has successfully tested one.
Have you lived in uganda your whole life?To some group of countrymen like the board at Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and other military contractors, it's healthy, to others,,,well its not.
Looks like another form of arms' race is about to begin
Have you lived in uganda your whole life?
Have you lived in uganda your whole life?
Yeah, it seems that you are well educated and have some technical knowledge.Yes buddy,,,,
Yes of courseYeah, it seems that you are well educated and have some technical knowledge.
I can see that you are in fact in Uganda from your IP.
You got any more details you’d be willing to share about yourself?
I expect we should shoot down every vehicle and land a direct hit on everything we release cuz Merica!BTW, I would like to ask why this is such a big deal. We have lived with mutually assured destruction since the middle of last century.
When did we start thinking that missile defense systems would really work? When did we get so arrogant to think we could win a nuclear war?
Even with conventional ballistic missiles, they will get through.
Test was successful a few weeks ago. It is in the open press. Congress is all liquored up on hypersonics and want to throw money at it, but that doesn’t mean it is useful. Warhead size is still small and would be used to target HVTs. Will need to be used in mass with more conventional long range strike weapons. Bottom line …The US won’t be able to afford mass quantities of hypersonic weapons.![]()

What's this mean for us boys? We been hiding the goods, or fast tracking stuff? Or just propaganda? Looks to be legit.
@GatorOK
If we can't afford it, who can? Just China?Test was successful a few weeks ago. It is in the open press. Most of Americas Technology comes from Nazi ties during the second world war and countless of other countries as well. The US also hack as many nations as what Russia or China are reported to do.Wondering whose blueprints they hacked this time
I very much appreciate your viewpoints on here. Side note about Nazi tech: I live in Huntsville, AL which was where Von Braun and many of his scientists were moved after the war. We have multiple buildings with the name Von Braun on them and the industry is still largely based around rocket technologyJust to be clear - I really could not give a shit about China and or Russia. The point is I do not believe having one super power is a good thing for the planet. We need an even the playing field and would do well to take a really good look at those holding all the power. Right now going by the political climate and tone projected by those who claim to be on top, it's easy to see who the real oppressors are.
If you do your research well enough ... it's not China or Russia that the world should be terrified of ... more the other way around. Although I would say ditch the fear and just stop falling for the BS that's being pumped out and call out the fear mongers for what they are.
I would much rather have three or four entities with equal power walking the yard rather than one very untrust-worthy entity calling the shots.
So it is in that light there a huge silent majority which is growing all the more those who claim to be on top are starting to feel the pinch as other nations rise in power. Of course ... that is when it is time to start printing the dogma and start a new war.
So yea - in that light more people across the world are getting sick of the same old BS coming from the west. Keep up the bigotry, the hatred and dong what you only know how best. The real changes taking place are something many of us welcome in terms of a more even playing field. If you can't feel or see the oppression in your own backyard, then your just part of the bots in the new world - part of the problem which hopefully is soon coming to an end.
If not ... then those on top will continue to oppress in the name of peace as it's long been. Most people in said allied countries living under such centralized power live in fear on a daily basis re their own government. There is NO freedom when it comes to one's own sovereign worth. People today are no more than batteries on a level that has nothing to do with boundaries. Yet swallowing the patriotic pill will ensure those in power are always fed. Keep up the good work.
This is a a very big deal

Chinese nuclear-capable hypersonic missile test surprises US intelligence: Report
China tested a nuclear-capable hypersonic missile in a move that caught U.S. intelligence by surprise, according to a new report.www.foxnews.com
(Fox: It’s not a missile, it’s a hypersonic glide vehicle)
They are helpful most of the timeYou are spot on. Hope your work with the alienz is gonna pay off.
I in turn appreciate your response. I'll can only add that no matter the claims of either side, when it comes to equality, mutually assured destruction is possibly the most positive result when all aspects of society world wide are weighed and measured. Until the fear mongering and point scoring ends there will be no winner.I very much appreciate your viewpoints on here.
