Show me a football team that has fans that storm a field like that and I will show you a team that does not win very much.

The undefeated #1 ranked Auburn Tigers come in Coach Harsin’s 20th season as head coach - the only head coach that gets mentioned in the same breath as Saban due to his 7 national Championships in his tenure at Auburn. Unranked Alabama wins in triple overtime due to Auburns five turnover game. Bama storms the field and tears down both goalposts. A freshman girl is trampled to death on the field. Couches across campus are burned. Auburn goes on to win the SEC and National championship, while Bama loses to Cincinnati on the Kraft Cheese Bowl. But for that one night in Tuscaloosa, it felt like the good ole days.
No recommendations because the path to a National Championship still runs through the Tide.

OSU is just as talented, with even more money, year in and year out. OSU wins championships and is always in the playoffs, if not playing for the title, and it’s been that way for MUCH longer than the gumps have had their little streak.
Even with OSU losing the last time they played OSU could easily flip the script on the gumps later this season if the gumps get their shit together (unlikely) or the next time they play.

"[A[lways in the playoffs..." The CFP playoffs have existed only since 2014 and tOSU has participated exactly four times during that time. Bama has participated six times, missing the party only once. The vaunted tOSU has played for the Natty during this time only twice and sports an impressive 1-1 record, including their loss to (horror of horrors) Bama.

NCAA.com published an article 1/12/21 outlining the teams with the most Natties. tOSU came in tied for 8th place with eight. Bama was 2nd with 16. I suspect the NCAA would be the governing authority here. The article notes that Bama has the most in "the poll era" which began in 1945 (I may be off by a year or two on that), which is obviously a pre-millennial era. tOSU Natties in the poll era total seven, a few behind Bama's 13. You may be able to do the math to determine the difference.
Bama holds a 4-1 record in head-to-head matchups, including a lopsided win in the Sugar Bowl after the '78 season for, what was at that time, the Nattie.
Footballscoop.com does give tOSU the nod in money but don't put that nose too high in the air lest you drown when it rains. tOSU ranks, as of the last article on the topic in early 2020, only 5th in the nation.
