Maybe the most biased officiating I’ve seen in my life. It’s not why Alabama lost but damn they definitely interested themselves into the game to UT’s benefit on every call.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a missed targeting call, especially on a QB. They call targeting when it’s not, but somehow the #1 QB takes a few different shots to the head with no call. Killing the momentum after a big stop for a 10 min review on what down it we may be the most absurd thing I’ve witnessed. It was quite clear how the powers wanted this to turn out. That or the crew probably shouldn’t be allowed to officiate the rest of the year

Bottom line is that Bama is a shit team away from home, and considering the A&M game I'm not sure how good they are to begin with. Bryce Young is the only hope, he will have to play out of his mind for this team to win a title, which he is certainly capable of doing.

People don’t forget we needed 4OT last year to best AU, last play stand against Fla, lost to ATM, last second win vs lsu, barely beat Arkansas. They weren’t very good before the two AA wideouts went down. This years team is essentially the one GA played in the Natty once Williams went down, and it’s not very good. BY, Gibbs, and Sabes is about the only thing the team has going for them.

Bama has been getting the benefit of calls for a while now, I don’t deny that. I’ll be the first to tell you bama gets some home cooking.
It still doesn’t take away the fact you never see targeting get missed and there were 3 in the game. The most obvious one was reviewed during a commercial when a flag wasn’t thrown. It was a clear of targeting as there is in game. No call. Again, those aren’t why Bama lost. 17 penalties was the biggest problem outside of Alabamas terrible defense. It’s unfortunate they played good D on the next to last drive but received 2 DPI on a 3rd down stop and then int that would have ended the game. But that’s how it can go if you put yourself in a position to let it be a factor

How many penalties did Tennessee have. Can't seem to find that number. You can't honestly believe that refs calling that many penalties on one team, missed the targeting, face masks, and pass interference on the other team, without playing favorites.

Bama has gotten every call for years. Bama's WR jerked the DB down in the end zone, fell over him, and UT got a PI penalty that gifted bama 4 points, and maybe 7. More beneficial than a missed head slap on Young.
