Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Born and raised in Houston, however it has been overran so I moved next door to LA and that's not Los Angeles. There is nothing worth stealing here outside of the 3 big cities so it's pretty safe and the local PO lice keep it to a tolerable level. It is a work over rig. Yes on private property. Drilled in the 1960's, still producing. Not sure how much it produces(variable). We work on anything that broke down hole, in this case a sucker rod broke and we had to fish it out.
(Acres covered?) Drainage rates are different by formation, pay zone, and horizontal vs vertical.

What’s your friends name. I grew up in Ormond and had most of my friends went to Seabreeze.
I'm going to assume we have come in contact (obviously unknowingly bc of age diff.) as my parents have lived (mom still in house, dad passed away last year) there (in Brookwood area) for 36 years.
