You talking about the scenario that saw a few people get a headache and a few get cold and flu symptoms.... that one? That got overblown because we didn't know what we were dealing with. Those Israel #'s though. Weird that they have so many vaccinated getting hospitalized but we don't.... almost like our health officials decided not to count people who had been vax'd in the hospitalizations...

It’s pretty clear from everything I’ve posted they are counting the vaccinated accurately at most of these places but if you believe otherwise we can agree to disagree
I couldn’t care less if you get it or not and we likely agree that <1% of people have an adverse reaction of some sort. We definitely agree the government is full of plenty of crooks.
Where I wouldn’t agree with folks is that they don’t work. They clearly lessen symptoms and minimize serious illness for many folks.

I said "they don't work as intended". They were supposed to be 95% effective and then it was 80% and then it was people could spread covid without symptoms with the vax... They definitely help to prevent severe reactions to covid but the push to get 5 to 12 yo kids vaxd just set off my BS meter. The fact that there is a narrative of... "we need to protect the vaccinated from the unvaccinated" should tell you where Im coming from.
The fact that this vax allows so many breakthrough cases is going to lead to more diversity in the virus instead of it naturally becoming less deadly and more easily spread.
Fall 2022 will tell the tale though.

The reason they are able to so effectively play the fear porn card is because, as many here show, they laugh of the seriousness of the virus. It makes anyone who has apprehension about the virus look at those people as tools and further entrenches the division on both sides.
The really sad part is that it’s destroying the right and solidifying the left. 95-98% of Dims feel the same way about vaccines while only 3/4 of Pubs agree on the vaccines. When that 1/4 of pubs picks that hill to die on, and so brazenly by calling people that make it and take them war criminals / criminals, it really fucks over the bigger picture while distracting people from more important topics like election integrity.

People should quit looking so much into these "numbers" go down rabit holes and make a personal and consensus decision on what they truly believe. Instead of "oh well the CDC said this percent." Since when are any percentages or numbers the government puts out proven as 100% true.
We live in a world of information- the truth is out there but people have to spent time and hunt for it instead of hitting click bait.

Regardless of how someone feels about the numbers (which obviously can’t all be tainted because all of them aren’t even from government sources) it’s pretty apparent that not only do the vaccines work but that they aren’t killing or hurting a statistically significant number of people.
We would know by now if they were and there is just simply nothing there to suggest that besides a few TikTok and YouTube videos where folks peddle doomsday scenarios just like has always happened.
Hell out of the dozens of people I’ve talked to after getting theirs (all brands) I’ve only found one person who had any reaction and it was a headache.
I suspect that some people are as defensive about the situation as they are, and purposefully misconstruing basic facts and statements, because they’re at the point where cognitive dissonance has already set in and admitting or realizing anything else that is against their stance simply hurts their ego and antigovernment position too much.
