Since its gotten colder I've caught myself making a pot of coffee after dinner every night. I remember my granddad and dad doing this when I was a child and wondering why they would do it. Is this an old man move?

like clockworkI check the weather every morning
First of all, you two are what, less than 40. One, you know you are old when you can't figure out how to add an avatar or whatever and second, BPH ... you two spring chickens know nothing

You last until 530?Wake up at 5:30 am having to go to the bathroom every morning
Have a relative who couldn't go 10 minutes without having to pee. His bladder wasn't emptying. Had the "Green Light Laser" shoved up his pee hole and the prostate cleaned out. Fixed the problem although he had a catheter inserted for 3 days afterwards. Said it provided better mobility and lifestyle than knee replacement.Having to piss every 30 minutes and, if I sit for more than 10 minutes, every time I stand up there is pain and stiffness involved. Seriously, it takes me about 10 steps every time to get full mobility.
I bet you have less 'roids now.Not being able to sit on the stool for more than 10 minutes before your legs go to sleep. Used to be able to do a 30 minute session. I walked the entire 18 holes until I turned 60 and finally had to buy a golf cart.
No roids yetI bet you have less 'roids now.
Some of my problems are self-induced as I drink about a gallon of water a day and still lift heavy weights (heavy for me anyway). But, I'm figuring out this quality of life thing as I age, like the importance of fully recovering from workouts, not eating too much, stretching, walking, etc.Have a relative who couldn't go 10 minutes without having to pee. I've noticed that I wake up less during the nights if I stop drinking fluids by 8 PM.Some of my problems are self-induced as I drink about a gallon of water a day and still lift heavy weights (heavy for me anyway). Bro, this has more to do with you running a Brothel out of yore house! I too would be hopped up on coffee (and I don’t even drink it) to run a brothel 24/7.Since its gotten colder I've caught myself making a pot of coffee after dinner every night. lol that's a thing of the past. I've moved on from that lifestyle.. which is now why I drink coffeeBro, this has more to do with you running a Brothel out of yore house! I too would be hopped up on coffee (and I don’t even drink it) to run a brothel 24/7.
If that's the case, I became old a few years out of college. Was frequenting them so often, it got a little old.when going to a nightclub in Las Vegas became not fun. Enjoy going to a dive bar with the rest of the olds.
Agree 100%. I'm all about the dives and joints. Gimme a good bar conversation over the thumping music of a nightclub/hipster joint.when going to a nightclub in Las Vegas became not fun. Enjoy going to a dive bar with the rest of the olds.
I said "my knee hurts, it must be getting ready to rain", then a little later it starts raining. Fuck me. 36yo2010 early 30s walking down flight of steps to go to work and have extreme knee n back pain.
Who pitched? When I had lunch with John Croot_Overlord and found out he is 10 years younger than my youngest son.
ZFG..... we had a great time would do again.
I still get to whine and complain about my old man problems in this thread though. When I had lunch with John Croot_Overlord and found out he is 10 years younger than my youngest son.

I was the catcher so we can leave it at thatWho pitched?
Also, in the past few years, I've managed to hurt my back and my shoulder while sleeping. I've dealt with back issues for a while, so I generally have a good idea how to work that out, but the shoulder issue took about 2 months of physical therapy, and it's still not right. I think I did permanent damage, but can't possibly imagine how that happened, or what I could have done to it.![]()
Thought I threw my back out pulling up carpet when I turned the wrong way. Thought "well that's a new one".In my mid 30s, I THOUGHT I hurt my back sleeping funny. Woke up hurting, but hadn't done anything to injure it. Went away, came back, went away, came back...finally got MRI and had to have surgery for a herniated disc. Wouldn't wish chronic back pain on anybody.
