What’s the deal with news blackout on the Based US General leading the Azov Nazis

There was a rumor going around that Russia wasn't leveling that factory because Azov was keeping a foreign advisor hostage and France was asking Russia to hold off until they could get a guy out.... I guess by their guy they meant a US general.
