• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

The Empire is beginning to come around

According to The Sunday Times', in a press conference next week, Boris Johnson is expected to announce plans to drop social distancing rules and to reject proposals for a domestic Covid-19 passport. "We believe it is now time for the public to start learning to live with Covid, it quoted a Downing Street source as saying. All the data and scientific modelling suggests that the lifting of restrictions will lead to a rise in cases but with the continued success of the vaccine rollout and the break in the link between hospitalisations and deaths we are confident there will be no risk of it putting significant additional pressure on the NHS, the source said.

About cot damn time.

Britain or England is being consistently invaded. My wife was born and raised in England. We travel there. It is like going to a middle east convention in downtown London. True English are escaping to the town and hamlets that still resemble England. It is over for England historically speaking. Let me add that my wife is sad. Imagine if we will be in that position.
