What a blessing it is to be able to be in the room with her. For both of you. When I had my cancer diagnosis last year, I would have been lost if I didn't have my wife with me in many of the appointments. Having someone present with you that isn't physically going through the problems and who can ask the questions that I forgot at the moment is huge.Roo's cardiologist got back to her this afternoon. Rearranged his schedule to get her in first thing in the morning.
First time he's allowing a patient to bring somebody with since covid. She insisted. I'm going. She needs somebody there to take notes and ask questions /clarification. She needs her mommy.
Expecting the beta blocker to be stopped immediately and get the tests rushed.
And to everybody, I've read each of your posts and prayers. Thank you so much. She's going to be okay. She's a very strong woman. We'll get this figured out.
Y'all can't know what your supoort means. Many of y'all were there when I posted her commitment to St. Bonaventure (seems a lifetime ago). Y'all were there when she couldn't dive anymore and transferred to Dayton. Many of y'all have 'watched' Max grow up. You've put up with me for years. You're my people.
Thank you.![]()
Glad to hear your update!
We will continue to pray for her well being and on the side I am saying a separate prayer that the bastards that pushed this poison will have a day of reckoning. God Speed.
I tried also. Some didn't some did. I'm just praying for everyone these days. The list is shorterI personally asked people I cared about not to get it. I did whatever it took whether it be guilt trips, bribes, etc. I believe in free will but some things are too important to leave to chance.
I can vac seal whole briskets, pulled pork, and Ribs to ship direct to the house. I may DM Scrouch
Love all yall Gal. Please holler. I can help yall in to MUSC but I know Cleveland clinic is about the same. We all just want to fix yalls issue. We all love youRoo's cardiologist got back to her this afternoon. Rearranged his schedule to get her in first thing in the morning.

My heart absolutely breaks for your daughter and the rest of your family. I will definitely keep you folks in my prayers and pray for a special healing only God can give.Yโall. I love each and every one of you.
Sheโs home. Scared and waiting for her cardiologist to get back to her. But okay.
But hereโs what happened. (Most of yโall know sheโs had issues since she got vaxxed. As a matter of flat out fact, it went to hell after her first shot and then she got Covid 10 days later. While testing for Covid, the nurse listened to her heart and freaked out. Her heart rate was 32. Put her in an ambulance to the hospital ( which at the time, I couldnโt be with her. 21 year old girl, so alone with something terrifying she couldnโt understand). And they still made her get the second dose
Anyway, here we are 2 years laterโฆ.
(I copied my reply to LVRebel2000)
Sheโs okay, relatively speaking. Still donโt have any answers. I watched her heart monitor last night and itโs batshit insane. So much so that 3 cardiologists came down to see it for themselves. (Took her to UC (which is a whole nother level of crazy right now. All entrances blocked off because media is nuts) because I know theyโre one of the best cardiology units in the nation) When they realized she isnโt just an overly dramatic girl looking for attention, they paid close attention. When she gave them her treating cardiologist name and her electro physicians name, they paid real close attention and consults are going on now.
She was asked what her goal was last night (as her monitor was screaming) She said to make sure Iโm not having a heart attack. She had chest through shoulder pain, breathlessness, dizzy, hot/cold flashes, and her left arm was numb. She was visibly shaking and unsteady.
She called me at 3 pm and I knew something was wrong. She had been trying to hold it together since 4 am. Looking like itโs going to be the beta blocker her cardiologist put her on a few weeks ago (UC cardio was a bit taken aback as was I. I didnโt know that).
She has a tilt table test and another mri this month and weโre waiting on a full genetic panel. If she still doesnโt have an answer (itโs been 2 years of this) sheโs going to the Cleveland Clinic. Iโm beyond done with no answer and treatment other than โwell, letโs try this and see what happensโ She canโt live her life like this and I canโt live in constant worry for her.
The issue is that any single one of her heart issues is easily treatable. But itโs not just one. Itโs pvc, bigeminy, trigeminy (she was in both last night) , heart rate jumping from 31 to 78 to 54 to 93 (nurse showed me how to turn off the alarm because itโs constant). What scares her and adds to her anxiety (which is not helpful) is that her symptoms are now mimicking a heart attack and what if she dismisses one time and it IS a heart attack?
I just have to make sure she never sees my fear and worry for her.
Iโm going to copy this reply to you so I donโt have to type it all out again.
But seriously, thank you. Sheโs okay. Long day and night. I at least know she slept well and hard last night. I wouldnโt leave her until she woke up at 11 this morning and I made her a good breakfast. I have always been able to look at her eyes to know how sheโs feeling. They were clear this morning.
***As to the heart monitor, I had seen the results (sheโs done a harness monitor 2X and whatever it is the sandpaper to the chest monitor 6X) but until you see it in real time, if youโre not a cardiologist, itโs hard to grasp. I now know what Iโm looking at when I read her test results. So thereโs that.
First, yโall are so sweet. The flowers are beautiful. Thank you
Second: update after her appt this morning. He said her pain and symptoms is likely pericarditis. It often times will resolve on its own, but since sheโs been having pain for a number of weeks, he prescribed her an anti inflammatory.
So, thatโs good. Something easily treatable. And knowing what it is and being able to treat it lowers her anxiety by a metric ton.
Sheโs in a much better place this afternoon.![]()
Oh please donโt. I appreciate the thought and sincerity, but there is no need for meals. Nobody is hospitalized or incapacitated and sheโs lives in Cincy. If you want to donate

UPDATE
For Those Wanting to Donate for Meals For "Texas Girl Stuck in Ohio"
I have been been in contact via phone and text with @Scrouch2434 on getting some meals to "Texas Girl Stuck in Ohio".
First, he's a super nice and humble guy that's already sent some meals on his own dime to @tgsio and her family.
As he stated in an earlier post he has their address because last year he sent Max some Lacrosse things. That should show you what type of guy he is and contributor to this board.
He is not looking to get reimbursed - any funds donated by those ITT will fully go to new meals for the family.
He's looked up nice restaurants and his parents live about 15 miles away and consulted them as well for some good places.
There is no set amount to give and it's obviously voluntary. I've agreed to donate and several others have mentioned the same.
The plan is to have one or a couple of really nice meals (being from the dining mecca of Houston with some of the best restaurants in the nation, how that is defined in Ohio I don't know - maybe we'll be sending Beef O'Brady's or Chili's versus just sending Bob Evan's Farms or Steak & Shake)
Seriously I've looked at TripAdvisor and along with Jason's research we'll be sending something very nice and appropriate.
USAGE OF FUNDS
1. Again this is not a reimbursement program
2. All new funds will go towards new food orders
3. Depending on the amount received we will send one nice meal or multiple meals for the amount received.
4. FYI - I have spoken with Jason on multiple occasions prior to this unfortunate incident - we have mutual friends and I trust him - he's also earned that trust by sending Max items for Lacrosse over a year ago.
As for me, I've spoken to many of you and met others in person, helped others with mortgages thus I hope my credibility and trust by you is established as well. My company address, name, numbers have been posted here multiple times. You have our word every penny will go for the intended cause. I don't think saying this is necessary on this board after six years - nonetheless here it is in writing.
HOW TO DONATE
Like I said Jason is a humble guy and wants to keep his privacy best is possible this day in age.
Thus, if you will DM me I will send you his VENMO account information.
OTHER ITEM OF NOTE
If any of you have restaurant suggestions for the are perhaps @Nape or others please post here.
Again donating is totally voluntary.
Thanks for your time. Feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions below.
Sincerely,
Cary M Cox aka @MortgageHorn
