Will Clemson join SEC or try and hold out for another conference to compete with SEC? Notre Dame, Southern Cal, FL st, Penn st, mich, OSU .... there are some big names out there that I would expect to make some moves. You gotta keep up with your competition!!!

I think we will be playing in 2022. 2023 at the latest. The Big XII will implode by opening weekend of 2021.

Thats what I am thinking. I don't want to be in business with anyone who doesn't want to be in business with me. People that don't have your best intentions at heart usually end up causing more problems than they are worth.

Just your random chatter, I don't think there has been any serious talk or leaks about Clemson joining. The Florida State AD said something about Clemson and Fl State being interested but i think it was just him running his mouth with hypotheticals.

From a logical standpoint i think Clemson would be a decent fit with the SEC. As a fan, I honestly don't know what to think. Of course I would love to see the big games, but then again its a much tougher road to Championship. But who even knows what the championship will look like 5 years from now anyway.

Things are changing, & who knows where we end up. We have come a long way from the BCS and the craziness prior to that. I wouldn't mind seeing 4 or 5 huge conferences, where the champions all played in a small tourney for the cfb title. With 16-20 teams, the conferences could have divisions with champions playing in a small 4 team tournament, to decide who goes to the next round.

SEC is hurting these schools by making the path ever more difficult. It looks good on paper but I preferred watching The Bucks play in Jan much more than I cared about conference play back when I still cared. Not *every* game can be a big game (I guess UT lite, Vandy, and UK still exist?).

OSU and Clemson have a good gig right now with just enough conference competition and other big names to keep things interesting.

I heard this last week. I would rather something worked out between the pax, big 10, and ACC personally.

I remember growing up a gamecock fan (ended up going to Clemson) in the late 1980's early 90;s and the Bobby Bowden teams would just kick the ever living shit out us. They were flashy, speedy and feared. And the Fla st vs Miami rivalry was one of the nations best ...... hope we get back to those days soon

I hope so too. I think the consolidation of football coupled with the playoff system is going to ruin the rivalries that made CFB great. It’s a damn shame.
