Oh I understand what you are talking about, but times are different these days, "money" was likely not the driving force in their lives.......power and honor and prestige was.......

you are exaggerating a bit also, and the "experts" put out "facts" that are really not 100% honest.

The thing to remember about stuff like this is that they carved out a block big enough for the biggest points top to bottom and front to back. So they didn't just cut this down 1 time... and this is granite. They say they did this with 12 pound round stones.... Fuck that noise. You aren't making those lines with stone hammers and copper chisels. That line isn't something you do with tech they had. We would use diamond cutters and rotary saws to make something like this.

so what is your theory?

I don’t know about any of the other monoliths, but the picture you show is more similar to concrete than granite. Look at the pores, the shearing off and cracking at the corners. Anyone that has done any construction work with concrete knows what that looks like.

Also, I completely agree about the technology not being advanced enough to do some of the things they did. I’m just commenting on this particular picture.

Agreed it is more likely cast that cut..........i did not post the picture.

I do think that ancient people likely had abilities that we do not have, records perhaps lost in the fire of Alexandria. One must consider the fact that peoples had much more time to advance from inception to that day, rather than the time "we" have had since the dark ages. And if "our tech" is so much more advanced, than the question must be asked: "why could we not build these things today"

The issue I have with this conversation on "how the fuck did they do it then, if we cant do it now" is somewhere in the conversation is common to bring up "aliens" and the like.

The notion that "we cant do it now" is BS. Back then, they had people who lived their whole lives working, building, hunting, farming, etc. This level of strength and resiliency would be unmatched today, even by the best athlete. Couple that with a fear of death, or a direction by GOD, and most would be surprised what mankind can do.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they had a lost technology to liquify and pour stone into molds. Maybe the molds were made of wood or other degradable material, and thus why they didn’t survive. The transportation is a whole other mystery, though.

Except it's been studied to see if it was poured, and it wasn't... at least not how we would or could do it. It's solid granite and there are pieces all over the world that have been smuggled out of Egypt that have been studied for that.

I think they had steel and diamond cutters. I think they were able to create rotary saws and core drills. I think the pocky lips caused them to lose all that knowledge and then the Egyptians found the sites and did the best they could to pretend they built them.

Most people don't realize the fact that the ancient Romans knew how to make concrete. When Rome fell that technology was lost until the late 1800's. If it took that long to relearn something as simple as how to cook Portland cement, there's no telling what else may have been lost.
One of the things I heard was that the Romans used salt water from the ocean but the "recipe" just said water. Nobody thought about ocean water but to them it would have been obvious that when they said water, they meant ocean water. LOL. that is one of those things that make you wonder what anything means in context.

I am not sure that any "test" would reveal that it was not poured. I know of no knowledge on the effect of time on concrete.

Granite is an igneous rock, which are typically hard and dense and stable. If that picture is of a rock, it would be a sedimentary rock, which is kind of what concrete is. I am not a geologist, but i do know what granite looks like, and that does not look like granite.

Is your point of view that they had extraterrestrial help or that they had a knowledge we have lost?

They have unfinished ones in quarries in different stages of completion. Maybe they poured them in the quarry then hauled them 100 miles... but I would trust the geologist and stone masons that have looked at it on this.
