Good news for me boys. Had my follow up Dr. Appt Friday from my surgery a couple weeks ago. Biopsy was all clear, so basically, as of now, I'm cancer free. Praise God!

This past couple of months has been kind of surreal at times, but I'm glad to have some peace of mind now. No further tests or procedures until next year!

BTW, with all of the early cancers they're seeing these days, they're recommending colonoscopies starting at 45 now instead of 50, and even earlier if you have a family history. I had no family history and am under 45 and they guessed that mine had been growing for a year or two. Fortunately, that was still early and they were able to remove it all before it spread.

Now, I gotta get back on track with my exercise and keep my body strong. Thanks for your prayers and support along the way!

I do. Mix with water and my apple cider vinegar almost taste like v8

I’ve been on this the last two days. It goes well together and think I’ve been running low on my vinegar supply anyways. Every so often I get massive cravings for vinegar
I may try this tomorrow. I put on a few pounds with all the craziness these past 2 months, so gotta drop those quick. Worked out 2 out of the past 3 days but fairly lightly to ease back in. Hopefully be fully back in it next week

Lol I gained about a 20 spot back the last few months. About 10 was muscle mass from creatine and slowly over the last month that muscle mass has translated into fat, plus some additional fat.

Yikes, that's a lot. I was at 217 this morning and want to get down to 210 for my first target weight. After that, maybe 205. 200 is a tough one to hit for me and will take a while even if trying hard.

I swing hard 20 pounds every few months. Probably not healthy, but I always keep the workouts going. Between 235 and 255.

I typically have pretty big swings too, and its not for the better. Every few years, I'll hit 230-240, and I have to get my act together. With my build, 200 would probably be ideal, but it takes a lot of discipline to get to that weight, and then consistency to stay there. Vacations, sicknesses, busy work and family schedules, etc typically keep me from being consistent for the long haul. It'll be 5 lbs here, another 5 there, and next thing you know, I'm 235. My top ever was 242 and that really wasn't a healthy weight for me.

Shingles:
All this talk in the other board about shingles reminded me of my bout with it 6-7 years ago, what I learned, and how I treated it.

At the time it triggered in me, I was taking an amino acid supplement called L-Arginine, which is supposed to be great for circulation. However, as I came to find out, it can also be a trigger for shingles if the balance of amino acids is off in your body, especiallyin regards to lysine and arginine.. I found this article that talks about it including foods to eat and others too avoid.

https://www.livestrong.com/article/280245-shingles-and-lysinearginine-foods/

At the time, I was also eating a good amount of pasta with red sauce, drinking wine and eating grapes and raisins, all of which are very high in L arginine and low in L-lysine. So once I found this out, I went out and bought the L-lysine supplement and started taking it immediately, while cutting out the L-arginine and those previous foods mentioned.

In addition to that, I found other articles showing that you can heal the body with other natural supplements including tea tree oil, apple cider vinegar, and cayenne pepper. See link to this article discussing these below:

https://www.reboothealth.co.uk/blog/how-to-cure-shingles-naturally

I ended up finding a pill supplement that combined the apple cider vinegar and cayenne pepper, so I started taking that too. I bought a small bottle of tea tree oil, and another bottle of calamine lotion, and mixed the tea tree oil into the lotion to dilute it from its pure form, which can be harsh on the skin. A few times per day, I rubbed that tea tree oil mixture on the spots on my body that had the rash.

Once I started this treatment, it was entirely gone in less than a week. A year or so after this, another friend of mine in his late 30s also got shingles, so I gave him all of this info too, as well as bringing him some of the supplements that I used. He also was completely healed in less that a week.

Hope this helps for people that get it at some point in the future. It sucks and is pretty painful, so reducing the length it lasts and stopping the virus from reproduction is huge.

Hope everyone had their beets today. I just had a great workout fueled by beets

Yes sir. I mix it with Mr Hyde pre workout and it tastes great. I don’t know if it’s the beets or what but it seems like the veins in my arms are much more noticeable now. I’ve also been able to increase the weight a little bit after I started taking it.
