My first look at Jefferies did not have me very excited. My current valuation may be a bit high, but it is still possible Jefferies is undervalued. Right now, I don't have much to say about them. They are an investment banking firm that engages in several other asset management activities. The company was initially named Leucadia National Corporation and changed its name in 2018. They have a decent institutional ownership level of almost 70%. Their largest revenue segment is in investment banking. Over the next few days, I plan to do a bit more research into how their revenues have changed over the years, the acquisitions they have made, and how they have turned out.
