Inexpensive Lockbox

Our 14 year old son has started to steal crap from his sister's rooms. Mostly small stuff like their snacks or headphones. I'm looking for an inexpensive option for a box with a latch that I can put a padlock on for them. Everything I see online seems to be an ammo box, which is too small. Thoughts?

Can you put a deadbolt on a closet?

Any kind of cheap lockbox you get is going to be able to bust in to relatively easy. Is this something your daughters want?

As a LE veteran, there is more of an issue here that needs to be explored.

Yeah...if OP didn't mention his age, I would have suspected a 4 or 5 year old doing it, and maybe locking up a few things until you could straighten him out would make sense. A 14 year old?! Unless he is developmentally disabled, a lockbox is not going to solve the problem, much less address whatever the root cause of this behavior is.
